About the role

This position is for a Refrigeration Airconditioning Lab Engineer, performing Engineering lab day to day operation. To work on continuous improvement on Engineering lab procedures and maintain a high level lab safety standard.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Refrigeration Airconditioning Lab Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Prepare and conduct product audit tests on time, consolidate test data and generate test report.
• Ensure test assignments were conducted safely and efficiently, including system prototyping, measuring instrumentation and conducting testing.
• Plan and arrange for regular maintenance for lab facilities and tools. Follow up with repairing, addition and improvement works.
• Coordinate with factory facility and outside contractors for sub-contract jobs, make sure the work carried out by contractors meet specific requirement, and ensure contractors are following strictly with Carrier’s safety requirements.
• Maintain regular records and improve procedures for team CX and safety, including safe work procedures, TPMs, risk assessments.
• Comply with company and regulatory ethics and EH&S requirements.
• Comply with company expense approval requirements.
• Actively participate in CX activities.
• Support for company recreation committee activities.

Requirements

Postdoctoral Scientist position

A postdoctoral scientist position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Leslie Beh at IMCB.

The Beh lab seeks to develop cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas technologies to uncover the biological functions of RNA modifications. Dysregulation of these modifications has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic disease. We will determine the mechanisms by which RNA modifications and CRISPR-Cas systems operate by drawing upon diverse techniques, including protein engineering, biochemical reconstitution, genomics, and cell-based experiments. Successful applicants can expect close mentorship in a collaborative environment, with an emphasis on developing scientific knowledge and individual career goals. Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences
