About The Role

The incumbent will be working in the Diphenyl Carbonate (DPC-500 tons/annum) Demo unit at Shell Jurong Island.

DPC is an intermediate used in the production of polycarbonate, and the Shell process offers firm improvements over competing processes.

Poly Carbonate development unit, unique downscaled unit, it will run on DPC produced from concurrent operation of our existing DPC demo unit and operate the combined DPC/PC Development Unit until 2027.

In your teaching role, you will

• Sit in for class observation in our senior teacher class and have a review session to learn different classroom management and teaching skills.
• Plan, prepare and deliver science practical lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
• Prepare the required chemical and lab apparatus for practical classes.
• Plan, prepare and deliver science theory lessons in accordance with Explorer Academy’s curriculum
• Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents • any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

In your curriculum development role, you will

• Design and develop content for our Primary/Secondary Science curriculum.
• Be exposed to the different types of learning materials and digital aids that can help students learn better.
• Participate in the brainstorming of science holiday revision programme and work with the marketing team to promote the programme.
• Support the lab team in developing learning materials.
• Create questions and write model solutions
• Create teaching slides and interactive activities
• Create and upload online learning materials (videos, notes etc) onto student portal platform.
• Provide administrative support to the Science Curriculum Unit.

Requirements:

• Student majoring in science related field.
• Able to commit 5-6 months internship
• Good Command of Both Written & Verbal English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
• Organised and have strong attentions to details.
• Takes ownership and responsibility of tasks given.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.

Details

• Onsite role based in Singapore
• 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend
• Weekdays: 1pm to 9pm
• Weekend: 9am to 6pm

As an Engineer Technician specializing in robot assembly, you will play a crucial role in our production operations by ensuring the efficient assembly, installation, and maintenance of our medical devices. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to optimize the performance of our robotic assembly lines, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Product assembly according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
• Conduct basic routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering team to implement improvements and modifications to our medical device systems, including programming updates and hardware upgrades.
• Perform regular inspections and quality checks on robotic assemblies to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform a wide range of duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduates in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering) with no prior working experience are welcome to apply.
• Engineering background from ITE Singapore or equivalent technical certification from a recognized polytechnic institution.
• Preferably experience in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of robotic systems, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Preferably able to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend to complaints/reporting of breakdown of services within the hotel premises.

• Diagnostic testing and inspection for all electrical and mechanical equipment, sanitary and plumbing system, and arrangement of faulty items for repair work.

• Diagnostic testing and inspection of air-conditioning system including fan coil unit, compressor, control IC board and piping works for both preventive and repair work.

• Managing stocks for M&E spare parts, electrical works, sanitary and tracking of stock level.

• Ad-hoc duties as per assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 2 years working experiences, preferably with relevant hands-on experience in building related or hospitality industry.

• Preferably possess Class 3 license.

• Resourceful, proactive and team player.

• Good interpersonal and communication skill.

• Service-oriented with good personality.
