1. Ensure specimen identification, processing and storage of test specimens are in consistent with good laboratory practices

2. Ensure all test results provided for clinicians are accurate and reliable

3. Maintain stock of laboratory supplies

4. Perform housekeeping in laboratory

5. Perform routine testing on laboratory instruments

6. Process laboratory specimens for test and storage

7. Transport specimens to and from laboratory for processing

8. Perform other functions as delegated by supervisor and/or lead laboratory

Job requirements:

1. Higher Nitec / Diploma in Medical Technology / Life science related

2. Meticulous with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

- Upgrade, refurbish, test and calibrate instruments to ensure that all required specifications are met.

- Work with Executive, Manufacturing and Engineers to ensure that quality, waste and efficiency are meeting the requirements.

- Troubleshoot faulty instruments or parts to ensure that all required specifications are met.

- Execute improvement activities on quality and work process efficiency

- Implement and maintain ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, ISO/IEC17025, QSR21CFR and OHSAS 18001 documentations of GRC. Maintain and upkeep the housekeeping and EHS standards at the workplace.
