Job Description
· Support maintenance manager and aircraft engineers with any appropriate assigned tasks in a safe, complete and timely manner.
· Responsible to carry out daily projects and complete within specified time frame.
· Carry out daily hanger and aircraft assignments as directed.
· Responsible to provide working knowledge of Regulatory AD’s, Bell ASB, TB, Service Installations, STC and third party engineering orders on Bell aircraft configurations.
· Responsible to provide planning and capacity analysis as required for the successful operation of this section.
· Provide clear and immediate advisory to appropriate personnel whatever any safety issues are observed or experienced
· Able to carry our modification, servicing, maintenance and repair of aircraft airframe systems in accordance with approved maintenance data and engineering drawing.
· Assist to carry out operational/functional tests, trouble shooting and defect rectification.
· Assist in ensuring that the tools and test equipment used are properly maintained, calibrated and correct for particular work tasks.
· Assist with hanger and mobile works as needed.
· Ability to work independently.
· Familiar with common aviation tooling.
· Understand and comply with company Human Resources procedures and policies.
· Foster and participate in improvement of working environment.
· Understand and comply with procedures and policies pertaining to EH&S and time recording
· Flexible to shifting priorities and time schedules to meet company objectives.
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience with general, commercial and/or military aircraft.
Skills/Certifications
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components, reading schematics and installation drawings, ability to work closely with Supervisor and follow through on directions regarding assigned tasks.
Preferred
2 years Appropriate Trade or Polytechnic School, Military Schooling, CAAS B2 License, FAA A&P, rotary wing maintenance experience.
