Roles & Responsibilities
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude, providing information about menu items, taking orders accurately, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. Ensuring a positive customer experience and satisfaction.
- Preparing and serving a variety of food and beverage items, such as coffee, tea, sandwiches, pastries, salads, and snacks. Following recipes and portioning guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
- Operating the cash register, processing payments, and accurately handling cash transactions. Recording orders and ensuring proper billing. Balancing cash register at the end of the shift.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, including food preparation areas, dining tables, counters, and equipment. Following food safety protocols and ensuring proper storage and handling of perishable items.
- Preparing food and beverage orders promptly and accurately. Ensuring orders are delivered to customers in a timely manner, whether for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
- Monitoring stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Restocking shelves, refrigerators, and display cases as needed. Reporting inventory shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Working effectively as part of a team, communicating with kitchen staff, baristas, and other crew members to ensure efficient service. Coordinating order priorities during busy periods.
- Assisting with closing tasks, such as cleaning tables, sweeping and mopping floors, organizing utensils, restocking supplies, and preparing the cafe for the next day's operations.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
-No experience is required, training is provided.
