JOB OVERVIEW

The Calibration Lab Technician is responsible for performing calibration and maintenance of electrical measuring instruments in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role ensures accuracy, reliability, and traceability of equipment used in industrial and scientific applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calibration of electrical equipment and instruments, including multimeters, clamp meters, oscilloscopes, hypot tester, power meters, and other electrical test devices in laboratory or client site as required.
• Ensure all calibrations are conducted in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Conduct routine testing and quality checks on lab equipment.
• Prepare detailed calibration certificates and reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure traceability to national or international standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of calibration equipment and the lab environment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and adjust instruments as necessary to meet calibration specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all relevant quality management systems.
• Stay updated on industry standards and methodologies related to calibration.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members to meet customer requirements.

A Research Officer position is available in Dr. Anand Andiappan Lab at the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN). The RO position is to support the research work of the team that focuses on studying the role of immune system in eczema and allergies. The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding immune pathophysiology of disease. Additional work involves cellular and stimulation assays with flow cytometry and FACS analysis along with imaging by confocal microscopy, and associated data analysis with statistical tested.

Job Duties:

• Managing safety in the lab
