Key responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot instruments, components and assemblies using appropriate Test equipment
• Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning
• Carry out Avionic Modifications including new wiring installations
• Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company.
• Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns
• Keep records of maintenance and repair work. Maintain repair or maintenance records
• Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance
• Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts
• Carry out schedule servicing, and troubleshooting and defect rectification.
• Carry our good housekeeping and observe all Health and Safety Procedure.
• Any Ad-hoc assignment as assigned by Supervisor or Managers

Qualification / Expertise / Skills

• Minimum NITEC / Higher Nitec , Diploma in Aerospace Electronics / Aerospace Avionics
• At least 5 years of experiences practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience
• Those with experience on any of the following types; Fokker 100, ATR, E190 or B737,A320 would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or engineering related field and graduating between 2024 to 2025
• Familiar with modern C++ (11, 14, 17 or 20)
• Strong background in algorithm, data structures and/or operating systems-related topics (memory management, scheduler, I/O etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts or technologies
• Ability to write sizable applications and manage complexity
• Linux experience
• Effective communicator and decision maker

• Knowledge of automated trading system
• Basic knowledge in operating system concepts: threads, processes, context switch, virtual memory etc.
• Basic knowledge in applied computer architecture concepts: SIMD, superscalar execution, memory/instruction latency vs bandwidth
• GPU programming experience (NVIDIA CUDA framework: basic understanding of blocks/threads launch config, shared memory, latency hiding etc.)

Compounding Technician #HMS

Dip/Undergrad: $2.2k

NITEC/Higher NITEC: $1.8k

Mon - Fri: 830am - 530pm

3 months contract, extendable

Location: West

a) The contract technician will receive On-Job-Training (OJT) with support document of Working Instruction (WI) and Standard Operation Procedure (SOP). b) He will go through a Safety Induction training prior to packing in order to meet Symrise regulatory requirement and standard. c) He will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, protective gloves, hair-net and moustache guard during his work. d) He will need to know how to operate electronic weighing scales in a safe manner. e) He will need to keep records on his packed drums and record any yield gain/loss. f) He will need to read and understand the types of product labels for each finished goods type, and paste the correct labels on each drum. g) He will be trained to operate electric stackers, mechanical pumps and diaphragm pumps.
