Qualifications & Requirements

• Candidates with a minimum 2-years experience with ceramics teaching or equivalent
• Has a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially pottery
• Possess advanced knowledge of ceramics (Throwing, Trimming, Glazing, Slip Casting, Recycling Clay)
• Should be able to make sake sets and teapot sets
• Experience in Raku Firing and Wood Firing will be an advantage
• Passionate about working in the ceramics industry
• Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills
• Should possess good leaderships skills, and has the ability to effectively manage a team
• Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with both customers
• Willing to work over the weekends and public holidays

· Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.

· Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.

· Resolve motor, pump, etc problems.

· Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.

· Handle personal tools for job including up-to-date documented personal tool lists.

· Handle time accounting and complete work order.

· Manage positive customer and employee relations.

· Work all shifts flexibly when job demands.

· Basis experience in welding job and able to use autocab software.

· Other Ad-hoc duties as assign by the superior, able to work in team.

· Working Hours: 6 Day work weeks

· Mon-Sat (8 AM - 5 PM)

Monthly Salary: $2000 - $2400

(With fixed allowance - Transportation & Shift allowance)

Working Hours: 12 Hours Rotational Shift (8 am to 8 pm, 8 pm to 8 am)

Rotational Frequency: 2-3 months once rotational

Location: Jurong

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supports in various tasks, including repacking and identifying unlabeled drums of waste chemicals
• Follows safety rules and practices 5S
• Adheres to QESH-MS Work Procedures and SOP
• Maintains cleanliness in the work area, takes care of equipment, and aids in the maintenance program and operation of production machinery and equipment.
• Loading and unloading of cargoes, conducts chemical waste sorting, manages waste transfer, and maintains stock records.

Requirements

• Possession of a NITEC in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent work experience in a manufacturing environment
• A clean disciplinary record
• Readiness to work without shift duties for at least 2 months
• Familiarity with ESH regulations
