Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on all types of equipment at industrial sites, including Acoustic Emission Testing on storage tanks, pressure vessels, pipelines or other type of structure. The main duties will include:

• Participation in the drafting of commercial proposals (depending on the profile)
• Preparation of missions (organizing the intervention schedule, preparing the equipment)
• Preparation of safety documents
• Performing on-site inspections (or in the laboratory)
• Writing inspection reports.

The position is based in Singapore. Travels are expected (at least 50% of time), mainly within Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and occasionally in APAC and Middle East Region.

Required Profile:

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with good knowledge of NDT
• Main skills:

1. Driver's license
2. NDT (at least AET Level II following ASNT or ISO 9712 certification systems.
3. Strong awareness of HSSE issues

Job Description:

• Assist in new / modified materials and process development program.
• Perform chemical analysis pertaining to product release, project and validation related testing.
• Write test method validation protocols for processes in which microbiological control is of significance.
• Monitor the operation of sterilization facilities.
• Appointed as a trainer on identified subject matter expert. Train new Lab staff.
• Supervise junior technicians / technicians during testing and that will also include equipment troubleshooting, equipment failure handling and investigation.
• Support Lab consumables purchase, inventory and control expenditure.
• Conduct or review internal calibration and maintain calibration master list.
• Verification test results obtained by QA Lab Junior Technician / QA Lab Technician.
• Any other tasks assigned by superior if required.
