• Carry out repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery onboard vessels in shipyard
• Liaise with Fleet Operations team on breakdown reports and vessel status
• Troubleshoot and carry out thorough rectification of deficiencies in machinery and control system
• Ability to perform wiring and termination of electrical cables
• Install electrical and electronic accessories and components
• Assisting Engineer any related job delegated

• Install and configure electronics and communications equipment, ensuring proper setup and integration with existing systems. (CCTV, Card Access, Trunk Radio,UPS)
• Conduct routine maintenance and perform repairs on various electronics and communications devices to ensure optimal functioning.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electronics and communications equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring compatibility and improved performance.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, including schematics and technical manuals.
• Provide technical support to users, addressing their queries and assisting them in operating electronics and communications equipment effectively.
• Test and calibrate electronics components and systems to ensure they meet specifications and operational standards.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability of necessary components for maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Liaise with vendors for the procurement of electronics and communications equipment, parts, and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in any technical qualifications
• Able to work outdoors and at heights

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily routine checks, troubleshoot, and rectify faults for building facilities and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing duties to ensure the proper functioning of building facilities, machinery, and equipment
• Attend to all service requests such as tenants' maintenance requests, painting, and other repair works.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors’ works are carried out according to specifications and contractual terms
• Maintain proper job records, maintenance documentation, and reports in an orderly manner
• Manage machinery/ equipment spare parts inventory which includes replenishing stock, conducting stock counts, and inventory checks
• Carry out other duties as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

• NITEC in building services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Possess at least 2 years’ relevant working experience in retail/ commercial/ hospitality properties.
• Possess a good work attitude and ensures all tasks are performed efficiently
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment
• Have basic knowledge of MS Office-Word and Excel
• Able to work on shifts (including Sat, Sun and Public Holidays).
