Position Overview:

An Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in various settings. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring diagrams, safety protocols, and technical troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring & lighting
• Knowledge to troubleshoot, circuit breakers, fuses, and electrical panels.
• Perform inspections of electrical systems and components and rectification work

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical technology preferred.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment. Provides general assistance in the maintenance of the company’s plant, machinery, building and associated facilities. Carries out routine inspection and servicing of the company’s mechanical and electrical installations, building and associated facilities, refrigeration plants and air-conditioning units, plumbing and sanitary systems, machinery and equipment. Attends to complaints from users and carries out minor repairs. Monitors and keeps daily records of readings on various gauges, thermometers, pumps and other equipment and makes the necessary adjustments to correct any malfunctioning.

· Equipment in a safe and operational state of readiness at all times in order to fulfil daily operation requirements.

· Carry out preventive maintenance checks on allocated machines

· Carry out troubleshooting on the allocated machines to find the root cause and repair the defective machines to minimize downtime.

· Actively works on ongoing review, improve & monitor manufacturing capabilities to improve operational performance and efficiencies.

• Assist the Operations Manager/Executive & Building Supervisor on a day to day operations
• Attend to the breakdown of the air-conditioning system, plumbing and electrical issue

• Troubleshoot some minor technical / facility problems
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to maintenance work schedule
• Conduct daily inspections (checklist)
• Recommend and suggest preventive maintenance or repair to the Operations Manager/Executive & Building Supervisor to minimize emergency breakdown of service
• Carry out joint inspections with the term service provider during the regular servicing
• Supervise to ensure that repair and replacement work are carried out properly by a term service provider or contractor in a timely manner
• To supervise & monitor term service providers & contractors to make sure they comply with workplace safety & health legislation, guideline & code of practice
• To sign off service provider service report
• To assist in Marcom events when necessary such as sound system & lightings
• To call & coordinate M&E breakdown with the service provider
• To inspect daily for units under fitting out during fit-out period and units under reinstatement
• Check the vacant unit/units which are taking-over or handing-over, to draw up technical / building specifications eg. to confirm the electrical / exhaust capacity, water & drainage provisions etc.

JOB DESCIPTION

Assist the Residence Manager / Property Executive on the day-to-day operation and maintenance of common areas and all matters related to the maintenance management of common property. He is responsible for the effective supervision, training, guidance and motivation of the on-site technician(s) under the team.

• To conduct regular inspection with term contractors (pest control, fire protection system, etc.) to ensure that the services are carried out / maintained to the standard set by the Management.
• To propose / recommend improvement, repairs and upgrading works when appropriate and ensure such are carried out properly when approved.
• To oversee the carrying out of these works when approved.
• To install additional power points to serve to new equipment and light fittings as and when needed.
• Trouble shooting of electrical breakdown.
• General maintenance of building facilities of the whole development.
• To check all common area lightings and replace defective lightings.
• To carry out minor building works or repairs.
• To maintain a record on the complaints received and work done.
• Subject to 24-hr recall in responding to emergency failures in the common property as and when required.

REQUIREMENT

• Candidate should possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• Organised, responsible, good team player and initiative with positive working attitude

• Assist Engineers: Support engineers in conducting all test-related activities.
• Product Configuration Setup: Implement and manage various product configurations.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot product failures, working closely with process and test engineers to improve yields.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and update test tracking records and working instructions (W/I).
• Training & Onboarding: Train new hires on working instructions and procedures.
• ISO Compliance: Assist in ISO implementation and ensure standards are maintained.
