About the role

As a Building Maintenance Technician at Knight Frank Strata Management business unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our buildings and estates. • PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
• To be responsible for performing preventive / breakdown maintenance on all M&E services and building work.
• To specialise in one or two areas including, plumbing, masonry, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, carpentry or other areas of maintenance work.
• MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To carry out preventive / breakdown maintenance on all plumbing and sanitary systems of the Hotel.
• To operate and carry out preventive / breakdown maintenance on all mechanical equipment such as air conditioning system, freezer, refrigerators, pumps, coolers, ice-makers and other refrigeration equipment.
• To carry out painting, polishing and varnishing works at the Hotel.
• To operate and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs of all electrical installations and equipment such as generator, fire protection system lighting and power, etc. at the hotel.
• To assist in energy conservation programme and participate in fire-fighting and safety exercise.
• To construct and repair furniture such as cabinet, cupboard, table, chairs, doors and props.

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates and finished products using state-of-the-art Lab instruments like XRF, GC-FID, ICP etc
• Prepare and standardize all necessary reagents in accordance with specified methods
• Ensure product identification, results, status and traceability is maintained within the Lab Information Management System Database (LIMS)
• Maintain and upkeep Laboratory instruments and workstation
• Any other duties & responsibilities which the supervisor may assign from time to time

• Responsible for the skillful, timely, accurate and sufficient collection of blood specimens from patients as required for clinical tests, using various techniques such as venipuncture, capillary collection and/or heel pricks
• Perform phlebotomy and ECG in an accurate, efficient and professional way
• Perform Point of Care Testing (eg. Prothrombin Time, glucose) and clinical laboratory tests such as urinalysis (eg. Urine FEME, dipstick, pregnancy), haematology (eg. full blood count, peripheral blood slides, erythrocyte sedimentation rate), biochemistry (eg. HbA1c, neonate bilirubin), microscopy works (eg: fungus smear, high vaginal swab) independently
• Ensure specimen identification, accession, processing and storing of test specimens are in consistent with good laboratory practice.
