Micromil Carbontech Pte Ltd, established in March 2014, will hire a Process Technician (Lab and Pilot Plant) to work in the domain of laboratory and pilot-plant design/commissioning/operation for our proprietary process. The person will play a supporting role in providing chemistry and chemical engineering capabilities to the laboratory and pilot plant in a start-up environment. The initial period of employment is for 2 years and there is possibility for renewal. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on person who has no qualms about getting their hands dirty. There is ample opportunity for growth that is pegged to the success of the project.

Job Description/Key Responsibilities

Work under guidance of the reporting officer in the following activities.

1. Provide support in design, building and commissioning of laboratory space and the chemical processing systems, associated equipment, and components where applicable.

2. Provide support in developing procedures for testing, including validation protocols for the same.

3. Work with vendors/regulatory bodies/partners where applicable.

1. Operation of the system in Batch, Feb-Batch and Continuous mode for producing the products.
2. Ensure compliance to OHSMS/relevant regulations and follow industrial best practices.
3. Collect and summarise experimental data.
4. Be able to lift weights of up to 25kg as fixing and dismantling laboratory scale reactors is required.
5. Any other work as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

NITEC or higher educational qualification with relevant process and safety knowledge. 2+ years of experience.

• Should have work experience in chemistry lab environment.
• Good communication skills and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Able to follow instructions and be safety conscious.
• Willing to work in Tuas South.

Responsibilities: -

• Process and dispense medicines (under supervision) to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Manage daily ward request orders for inpatient supplies.
• Assists Pharmacist in the areas of procurement, receipt and processing of drugs in the pharmacy to meet the internal and external customer requirements.
• Track and maintain records of inventory including drug usage, expiring drugs and stock counts.
• Complies with Corporate Quality and Regulatory standards and hospital’s SOPs.
• Assists the Pharmacist in day-to-day operation as directed.
• Performs any other duties as and when requested by Pharmacist and / or Pharmacy Manager.

Qualifications and Experiences: -

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent OR possessed a valid certificate for Pharmacy Technician course.
• Relevant experience in inpatient setting or have experience in inventory management would be an added advantage.
• Work Days: Mondays to Fridays and Alternate Saturdays or Sundays,based on roster
• Work Hours: 0830 hrs to 1730 hrs or 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs, based on roster
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
