POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Smart Hands Technician. This role combines responsibilities across three key areas: Audio/Visual (AV) conference room support, Level 1 network infrastructure support, and Tier 1 service desk operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operation and resolving issues related to these diverse areas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Tier 1 Service Desk

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee technical issues
• Diagnose and resolve common user problems related to software, hardware, and network access.
• Log, track, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
• Provide clear and concise communication and technical assistance to internal users.

AV Conference Room Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve audio, visual, and connectivity issues within conference rooms.
• Assist employees with using AV equipment and ensure proper setup for meetings.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and report any missing or malfunctioning items.
• Maintain continuous process improvement to provide the highest quality products and services which meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers.

Level 1 Network Infrastructure Support

• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (e.g., wired and wireless).
• Onsite Smarthands for Network operations team
• Escalate complex network issues to Level 2 support personnel.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Ability to work individually and within a team.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field.
• 1+ years of experience as an IT Support Engineer, Analyst, or Administrator.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the following: Networking, WiFi, Mac OS, Cisco, Linux, Windows is essential.
• Experience in ticket management and triage support.
• Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) and working to SLAs.
• Strong understanding of basic IT concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for helping others.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiarity with AV equipment, networking fundamentals, and basic troubleshooting techniques is preferred.

• 6 days working week
• Willing to work overtime

• Aircon installation & mainteance servicing and repairing
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all type of aircon system (split, VRV etc)
• Able to install split/VRV system
• Able to work independently and ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• Relevant Experience at least 8 years

• Conduct regular fuel farm operations and maintenance tasks following SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Preparation the daily logs and supervise the troubleshooting processes carried out by contractors, and reports all equipment abnormalities to the maintenance teams.

Requirements:

• NITEC and above
• At least 2 years of experience in Aviation industry.
• Possess valid class 4/5 and forklift license
• Proficient in utilizing applications with a strong awareness of cybersecurity.

Job Description:

• Experience with electrical systems such as schematic, SLD, Layout, Control wiring drawing of MCC, DB lighting boards, soft starters / drives, earthing and lighting layouts.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on plant-wide electrical and instrumentation systems. Installation, Configuration, calibration and troubleshooting of PT, DPT, LT, TT and Mass flow meter.
• Hands on experience in BMS with HVAC, MV and LV Electrical systems.
• Conduct of inspection, testing and repair of commissioning equipment on Instrument system, control and component under the maintenance team.
• Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of critical instruments and take corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
• Having good knowledge in megger test, PI test and gas detectors.
• Timely close all work orders assigned by supervisor in CMMS.
• Knowledge in creating risk assessment for non-routine jobs.
• Follow Instrument maintenance work planning and scheduling including procedures.
• Ensures quality of work within the set time frame, record and report.
• Ability to work on remove and reinstall units, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (Pneumatic, analog and digital)
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors in supervision of statutory equipment inspection and testing at site.
• Always follow and make sure plant safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in monthly safety committee meetings.
• Conduct routine 5S at maintenance workshop, store, substations and work area at site.
• Reporting to the supervisor on daily work activity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Control & Instrumentation or equivalent is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of previous experience of working in electrical and instrumentation in Chemical Process or Treatment Plant Industry.
• Experience in DCS and programmable logic controls is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
