Job Description

• Prepare Science teaching & learning resources based on workbook requirements and teaching needs (e.g., pull-out plant model display for P3 plant lessons).
• Maintain cleanliness of two Science labs and ensure equipment is well-kept.
• Feed fish in the aquaponics system (indoor and outdoor) and the pond in the eco-garden.
• Conduct stock-takes of equipment at least twice a year and assist with external audit inventory checks.
• Assist teachers during lab sessions, providing support as needed.
• Support innovative learning activities, including setting up projectors for video displays in the canteen during recess.
• Help prepare activities for Environmental and Science clubs.
• Manage the display and loaning of Science books to students, either in the lab or canteen, on an ad-hoc basis.
• Assist with recess activities during Science department events, such as Integrated Learning Week.
• Provide support on Science practical test days, including prep work and post-test assistance (up to 2:30 pm for 2-3 days before and after the test).
• Confidently handle live specimens (e.g., changing and cleaning stick insect tanks, refreshing leaves for caterpillars).

Job Responsibilities:-

• Completing the patients’ intake process, taking patients’ histories, preparing and educating patients after imaging procedure
• Reviewing patients’ charts and Doctors’ notes before the examination and maintaining patients’ records during and after procedures
• Preparing radiopharmaceuticals for contracts in the diagnostic images
• Positioning patients and equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images
• Monitoring patients and ensuring their safety during imaging procedures
• Calibrating the equipment to ensure clear, usable images are taken of the correct area, as specified by the Doctor
• Works with Radiologist to diagnose and treat patients using diagnostic imaging examinations like CT Scans and X-ray Scans
• Logging and organizing image results, developing film, assisting with the interpretation of the radiograph results, and consulting with Radiologists to determine if other images need to be taken
• Ensuring the proper sterilisation and storage of the equipment, maintaining radiographic equipment, and reporting any equipment failures
• Coordinating with the radiology department to schedule and complete radiographic procedures
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of current radiology practices

Summary

The Field Technician is responsible for outdoor onsite repairs of machines, and also training and delivery of new machines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Repair of cleaning machines, e.g. vacuum cleaner, high pressure jet, auto scrubbers etc
• Checking and repairing of customer’s machines onsite
• Delivery of new machines and training of customers
• Picking up and returning of workshop machines
• Maintain and clean own technical van issued
• Weekend standby duties (on rotation basis)
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Minimum NTC,NITEC or Technical Trade
• Basic reading, writing and maths in English required
• Valid Singapore Class 3 license
