We are subcontractor mainly dealing with Maincon in project works, specialising in dry works in interior finishes.

Roles & Responsibilities

A quantity surveyor may work for either the client, the contractor or sub-con, working in an office or on site. They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.

When the project is in progress, quantity surveyors keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.

Aside from Quantity Surveyor, he or she will also act as project engineer wherein will take charge of the supervising the project, adhere to construction procedures, coordinate all work schedule with the main con and liase with project manager and archi coordinator.

He or She should monitor and ensure that the work progress is within project schedules and manage the project independently as well as lead and motivate team.

• Estimation of quantities, preparing BOQ, BBS as per drawing.

• Coordinating with Design & Construction team.

• Review engineering drawing and specifications and ensure the correctness of transfer of drawing details to ground, Checking all centering and reinforcement works.

• Physical measurement of quantities and tracking the productivity.

• Ensuring timely resource availability.

• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and alteration done by customer in project work.

• Evaluating completed work and arranging payments.

• Ensure quality of structure, works as per drawing and specifications & ensure no rework.

• Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.

• Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports and submitting it to the Management

REQUIREMENTS :

- Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

- Knowledge of Autocad will be preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing and checking progress claims to Clients and from Sub-Contractors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.
• Guiding and following up on subcontracting works, including evaluating subcontractor performance, managing variations, and resolving any related issues.
• Liaising and collaborating with the Project Department to provide monthly cost reports, monitoring project costs, and analyzing deviations from the budget.
• Updating and submitting details and information such as taking-off, estimation works, and tabulations as requested by Directors.
• Preparing and finalizing outstanding progress claims and final claims, ensuring timely submission and accurate documentation.
• Participating in the drafting of contracts and procurement-related documents, including tender evaluation reports, contract agreements, and supplier performance evaluations.
• Coordinating with project teams to understand their procurement requirements and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Liaise with vendors on pricing, lead time, and product availability.
• Coordinate with sales personnel to fulfill customer requirements.
• Source and procure mechanical parts, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and manage incoming/outgoing goods.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Building/Construction or Quantity Surveying, or equivalent. Additional certifications related to quantity surveying or procurement will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD. Advanced knowledge in Excel, including data analysis capabilities, is preferred.
• Familiarity with Adobe PDF editing or equivalent software.
• Experience in contract drafting, procurement, and administration.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing progress claims and related documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.

Summary

Responsible for the full suite of ACMV Quantity Surveyor duties, from tender to pre-contract, post contract administration duties such as: review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities and sourcing.

Job Responsibility

· Knowledgeable in Chilled Water System and VRV system

· Responsible for tender surveying, checking of documents, and understanding of drawing and specifications

· Preparation of tender and contract documents, including quantity take off & liaise with Clients & consultants

· Obtain, compile and evaluate quotation from supplier according to tender requirement.

· Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders.

· To liaise with the supplier, main contractors, and sub-contractors to prepare the costing for tender submission

· Respond and follow up to client’s queries for submitted tender

· Attend site briefing (if necessary) during pre-tender and tender interview

· Coordinating submission of documents to clients and relevant authorities within stipulated timelines.

· Maintain proper documents and filing of drawings for all tenders and project according to requirements as per ISO standards
