Job Description:
1. Setting up, installing and then independently executing all topographic and hydrographic survey work for a project (“own work”) in line with the safety, health, environment and quality standards.
2. Administering the project survey data.
3. Reporting according to the Boskalis QA system.
4. Performing all relevant calibrations.
5. Solving technical surveying problems (approx. 80%) during a project.
6.Supervising trainees and local surveyors.
7. Explaining the survey results to the Project Manager and client.
8. Staying informed about survey related trends and developments and suggesting improvements the Survey Operations Manager on a detailed level.
Requirement:
1. Higher Professional Education (Bachelor): related to scientific disciplines
2. For relevant discipline training: see training matrix
3. For mandatory safety training: see training matrix
4. 3 - 10 years relevant work experience
5. Experience with Survey related measurement techniques, equipment and systems
6. Knowledge of Intercultural Management
Others:
1. Good command of English (written and spoken)
2. Knowledge of relevant equipment and software
