Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for repair and repainting projects.
Attend site visits to assess the project requirements, including detailed measurements and scope assessments.
Prepare and submit competitive quotations and tender documents, including project specifications and BOQs.
Support marketing initiatives, helping to develop strategies that promote our services to target clients.
Assist in developing proposals and work closely with managers to present project costs and tailored solutions to clients.
Source and negotiate cost-effective materials.
Issue and follow up on progress claims and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
Perform cost analysis, monitor project risks, and recommend value-engineering solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
Provide feedback on project performance and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1 or 2 years of Quantity Surveying & relevant experience, preferably in repair and repainting projects.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail in costing and measurements.Familiarity with Singapore's building codes and standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of quantity surveying software.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in technical and client-facing contexts.
Marketing and sales experience or an interest in client development is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster client relationships and promote services.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
