• Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to communicate updates, address inquiries, and ensure alignment on budgetary needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Generate reports, financial analyses, contracts, and budgets. Keep accurate records of design adjustments and update budgets accordingly.
• Tender Review: Assess tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand the project scope in detail, ensuring accurate estimates and compliance with Sunpeak standards.
• Bills of Quantities (BQ): Measure quantities and compile Bills of Quantities, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations during tender submissions.
• Variation Orders: Identify and prepare variation orders for project changes, documenting and communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
• Site Meetings: Attend site meetings to provide financial updates, address cost concerns, and ensure contract terms are met.
• Progress and Final Accounts: Review and certify progress claims, and finalize accounts for completed projects to ensure all financial aspects are reconciled.

Requirements:

Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Preparation of tender/quotation for submission with specific deadline and as well as cost estimation;
• Responsible for taking off quantities, sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors, evaluation of price comparison and costing summary;
• Preparation of Monthly Progress Claim and Payment Responses to both Client and Sub-Contractors/Suppliers and all related project administration and documentation;
• Preparation of Contracts to Sub-Contractors and Suppliers;
• Participate in sourcing activities based on procurement strategies/operational needs;
• Manage day-to-day Purchase Order administration;
• Handle and manage project procurement & cost control reporting, PO award and PO administration to final delivery and PO close out;
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost savings opportunities;
• Handle office administrative matters and preparation of quotation and variation order;
• Co-ordinate and establish good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;
• Provide assistance in keeping track of approvals during submission stage so as to ensure compliance with government authorities;
• Carry out site measurement if necessary;

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 1 year M&E QS experience in the building construction industry
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Independent, committed, reliable, proactive and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
