Quantity Surveyor - Tender

Duties and Responsibility

• Assist Tender Manager to establish the quantity, unit rate, cost.
• Understand bid/tender documents/drawings/specification.
• Quantity take-off and prepare Bills of Quantities in line with SMM, etc.
• Request quotations from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Analyse/evaluate quotations received.
• Compare all quotations received.
• Communicate/meet with subcontractors/suppliers to discuss on quotations.
• Revalidate comparison and select unit rates/cost accordingly.
• Propose final unit rates/cost for bid/tender submission.
• Prepare clarifications/queries/submission.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge about design, construction and tendering procedure.
• Must be a team player and ability to work in a given environment.
• Good planning and time management skills.

• Handle full scope of QS duties which includes material take-off and variations.
