Deputy Manager / Manager, Collections, Receivables and Refunds (1-YR TEMP)
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a dynamic team in charge of managing system enhancements and upgrades, such as Govt Commercial Cloud migration (GCC) for a financial collections system. Your role would require you to utilise a combination of financial, stakeholders management and project management skillsets to complete these tasks assigned on a timely basis. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solution without compromising the existing functionalities of the financial system.
Your responsibilities include:
• Manage all project activities pertaining to system enhancements and upgrades (e.g. GCC migration) to ensure consultants’ delivery are per planned timeline and any slippage are identified and mitigated at the onset for resolution.
• Identify and assess the impact of the Business Systems’ project development and requirements on the GCC migration track for alignment across the various financial functions.
• Identify and follow up with the funding and procurement of infrastructure replacement (if needed) for items which reach end-of-life, if GCC delivery is delayed.
• Drive the review and assessment of Service Requests and provide inputs to the specification documents to ensure progress is in alignment with project timeline and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review standard-operating procedures (SOPs) and business communication as part of implementation process for the project activities.
• Ensure close engagement with external and internal stakeholders to facilitate audits and security reviews.
• Monitor and track the utilisation of GCC migration budget to ensure that the migration is completed within allocated budget.
[What we are looking for]
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a Finance/Accounting/IT environment.
• Experience in IT system project management relating to Financial Systems (e.g. Oracle Customer Care and Billing, SAP etc) will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and perform under pressure and tight timelines.
• Effective team player who is committed and self-driven.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and engagement skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge in data migration methodology and/or data mining/analytics will be an advantage.
