Responsibilities:

Sourcing

• Identify and source vendors through appropriate channels to meet company requirements.
• Analyze vendor proposals from technical and commercial perspectives in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Ensure the best-fit solution for inquiries and requests to align with company specifications.
• Monitor pricing from vendors and provide timely updates to Sales Officers.

Administrative Support:

• Evaluate vendors' terms and conditions to align with company agreements.
• Initiate and follow up on cost estimations and resolutions for any discrepancies.
• Collect, organize, and report sourcing data to maintain accurate records in the company database.

Purchase Handling & Documentation:

• Prepare and submit purchase requests and orders for approval.

• Verify delivery confirmations and manage advance payment processes when required.

Verification & Invoicing:

• Address any non-conformances with Sales Officers promptly.
• Ensure completion of all relevant order-related documentation.
• Oversee vendor invoicing and payment processing within agreed terms.

Teamwork & Innovation:

• Suggest improvements to vendor relations and supply chain processes.
• Contribute ideas for optimizing administrative procedures and workflows.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/ or relevant discipline.
• Possess minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Effective time management and adaptability to work beyond standard hours if needed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with vendors and colleagues.
• Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage but not mandatory.

About the Team

Our Infrastructure Engineering organization build and operate hyper-scale datacenters, manage the life cycle of server fleet, allocate cloud resources and create various cloud solutions, and provide infrastructure services including widely distributed Content Distribution Networks (CDNs). The Infrastructure Platform team build and leverage various platforms and toolings to manage and interact with our infrastructures and services, including end-to-end capacity delivery, asset management, data center infrastructure management, system engineering, server fleet management, financial operation, governance, risk, and compliance, etc. To support the fast growth and improve operation efficiency, these platforms need to be feature rich, easy to use, scalable, agile and compliant to with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

- Build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with the large scale production systems.

- Build tools and platforms to improve engineering productivity.

- Bring new ideas and technologies into our platform, innovate and iterate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master’s degree (or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience) in Computer Science or related engineering fields.

- 8 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including: Java, Go or C++.

- 5 years of experience with software design and architecture.

- Experience working with the following: web application development, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems.

- Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects. - Familiarity with the full stack web development, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.

The role:

We are looking for a capable Project Manager to support the transition of key business applications to a new platform. In this role, you will focus on overseeing the smooth transition of on-premise applications to AWS cloud infrastructure. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure effective monitoring, performance management, and optimization throughout the migration process and in the post-migration environment. Your operational expertise will be crucial in maintaining system stability, improving efficiency, and ensuring continuous service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the migration, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business processes.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and resource utilization on AWS, ensuring that the infrastructure operates efficiently.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, working closely with technical teams to resolve problems promptly.

2. Operational Support and Incident Management:

• Provide ongoing support during and after the migration, responding to operational incidents and resolving issues that impact system performance.
• Implement proactive monitoring strategies using AWS tools (CloudWatch, SNS) to detect potential issues early and ensure system uptime.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for any operational failures and work on remediation strategies to prevent recurrence.

3. Operational Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed operational documentation, including runbooks, operational workflows, and issue resolution guides.
• Provide regular reports on system health, performance metrics, and any deviations from normal operation to stakeholders and project teams.
• Document lessons learned from operational incidents to improve future processes.

4. Process Optimization and Automation:

• Identify areas of operational inefficiency and propose solutions to optimize AWS resource usage and cost.
• Develop automation strategies to streamline recurring tasks and reduce manual intervention (e.g., autoscaling, automated backups).
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, ensuring they align with best practices for cloud operations.

5. Risk and Contingency Planning:

• Assess operational risks related to the migration and ongoing performance of the AWS environment.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Design contingency plans for handling operational failures or performance degradation.

6. System Testing and Validation from an Operational Perspective:

• Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) from an operational viewpoint, ensuring all necessary resources are available and optimized.
• Collaborate with teams to validate that the system can handle operational loads and peak performance demands in the AWS environment.

7. Training and Knowledge Transfer:

• Assist i training operational teams and end-users on AWS infrastructure, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and handover of operational procedures to stakeholders and support teams.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1. Collaborate with sales, marketing & operation teams to create production plans that align with demand forecasts, inventory levels and production capacity.

2. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure that raw materials and finished products are available when needed and that inventory levels are optimized to minimize waste and reduce costs.

3. Conduct random check on ingredients / raw products received from suppliers to ensure that the received products meet the minimum requirements in quality and temperature as per regulations.

4. Quality assessment of in-process and finished products

5. Conduct audit check on the production process to ensure proper cleaning, cutting, disjoining, deboning, and trimming of meat are carried out and conduct checks to minimize any wastage and spoilage. Prepare a recommendation plan to reduce the occurrence.

6. Communicate regularly with various stakeholders, such as procurement team, production team, sales team, and export team to keep them updated on production schedules, inventory levels and any issues that may arise.

7. Oversees the coordination and management of effective and efficient resource allocation and cost through multi-skilling and multi-tasking and ensuring its profitability.

8. Ensure that production processes comply with relevant regulations, industrial standards, and company policy, such as HACCP guidelines, MUIS and Halal standards, health and safety, environmental and work to improve compliance where necessary.

9. Work closely with various teams to ensure that production schedules are optimized, and products are manufactured efficiently and to the required quality standards.

10. Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.

11. Ensure production and processes are running smoothly, identify any bottlenecks or issues that may impact production schedules and work with operation teams to develop solutions.

12. Review processes with QC team and procurement team:

i. in selection of raw materials from suppliers

ii. to monitor the monthly inventory record to ensure that it is accurately maintained and reported; and

iii. to ensure continuous improvement.

13. Ensure proper handling, cleanliness and maintenance of the butchery, cold rooms, materials, and equipment.

14. Develop standard operating procedure and document food preparation for future reference and for use to train and transfer knowledge to the team.

15. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager in-charge.

• Lead Process Engineering and design, process configuration and optimization studies
• Perform Process simulations, prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, Utility Balance
