Your responsibilities will include:

• Involved in deployment, implementation of cloud, services and endpoint solution
• Provide expertise to technical team and providing design and implementation advices
• Provide timely escalation and resolution of issues relating digital workplace
• Optimise supported services, practices and processes associated with Microsoft endpoint management platforms efficiency, security, capacity, scalability, and availability to realise high levels of client satisfaction
• Support software/application deployment strategy for Windows devices across the university

Requirements

• Min 6 years of experience in IT
• Min. 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure solutioning and project management
• Good experience working with endpoint manager, M365 , Ms Azure, Active directory, SAAS, PAAS
• Experience with device group policies and configuration profiles: Create and maintain group policies and configuration profiles through Active Directory and Intune
• Experience ensuring device compliance with latest Windows security updates
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate DevOps practices, improve system reliability, and ensure smooth software delivery.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including access management, encryption, and automated vulnerability scanning, to ensure the security of infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshooting and Incident Management: Lead the troubleshooting of production issues, including root cause analysis and coordination of remediation efforts across teams.
• Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers, guiding them in implementing best practices and improving technical skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience:5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure management, or related fields.
  2+ years of experience in a leadership or architect role, designing and implementing large-scale systems and infrastructures.
  Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
  Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
  Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
