Job Functions
Objectives (Generic responsibility of the job):
- Manage and administer network, servers, clients and resolve system & application issues.
- Administer Application IDs and enforce IT security policies.
- Provide L1 and technical support to end-users & guidance to junior staff.
- Carry out installation, upgrading and maintenance of hardware, software and infrastructure.
- Liaise with vendors on IT hardware and software purchase, evaluation and maintenance.
- Other duties as and when assigned by IT Manager.
1. Server Administration
1.1 Application Servers
1.1.1 Login accounts administration
1.1.2 Security controls
1.1.3 Data backup and restoration
1.1.4 Trouble shoot
1.1.5 Maintenance, installation and upgrading and decommissioning
1.1.6 Recommend and enhance business process and flow.
2. End-users’ support includes setup, troubleshooting & maintenance of Endpoint device.
3. Enforce IT Security policies and establish procedures.
4. License and Service Contracts Management.
5. IT-related procurement.
6. Evaluate and recommend new technology and solutions to enhance Business and infrastructure.
7. Liaise with suppliers & vendors on IT matters.
8. Follow-up and implementation of IT projects.
9. Innovative with digitalization knowledge to transform and sustain internal processes such as RPA and Power Automate.
10. New joiners and Resigned users process completion
11. Cover duties of IT staff in their absence.
11. Any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Knowledge and Skills
1. Must-have skills
- Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- 5 years’ working experience in similar capacity and industry
- Excellent communication and trouble shooting skills
2. Good-to-have skills
- Basic understanding of IT & Network Infrastructure knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of ISO 270001 and other ISMS framework is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL is a plus
