Job Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese (Level N1) to communicate with Japan Headquarters and other overseas offices
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related fields
• At least 15 years of regional managerial experience, such as in Sales, Marketing and Project Management, Manufacturing in the Glass Business
• At least 2 years of experience in a top management position
• Deep understanding of and experience in strategy formulation, policy deployment and management systems (eg. Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Accounting and Organizational)
• Extensive knowledge of Glass markets, key players, competitors, business models, products and technology
• Broad understanding of business trends and technical requirements of different countries
• Considerable knowledge of high value added Glass products and their markets

Job Description

Responsibilities

Reporting to HR Manager/ Senior HR, this incumbent is responsible for full spectrum of Human Resource services and support including assisting in the preparation of payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process of local and overseas employees including work pass matters relating to application, renewals, termination
• Liaise with regulatory / authorities for employment matters, e.g. Ministry of Manpower, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, Ministry of Health, Singapore Medical Council, Allied Health Professionals
• Manage staff movements, contract renewals, attend and manage both frontline and office employees’ queries
• On-boarding and ensuring full integration into company and also off-boarding for all employees
• Assist in the process of monthly payroll using SmartHRMS HR & Payroll system as well as maintain and update employee records and personal data in HRIS system
• Manage performance review, annual salary review and bonus payment processes
• Involve, manage HR projects and organise employee engagement activities
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Human Resources or relevant qualification
• Possess at least 2 years human resources experience as a 360 HR practitioner
• Meticulous, possess numerical critical reasoning skills
• Systematic and well organized
• High level of integrity, good communication skills
• Able to manage ever-changing business and regulatory landscape
• Proficient with Microsoft Words, Excel & Powerpoint
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice

2. Specific Responsibilities

• Full set of accounts
• Submission of GST
• ARs and APs
• Accounting of petty cash
• Issuance of tax invoice
• Reporting of P&L and balance sheet
• Any bank related matters
• Financial advisory

3. Competencies

1. Learn to work with the accountant and the CEO to deliver the full financial report on a yearly basis.

2. Submission of GST to IRAS

3. Gain experience with Human Resources Online Systems (LMS / Payroll) and Accounting System.

Academic Qualification:

• Min. 'A' Levels / Diploma equivalent

Working Experience:

• 2 years of working experience preferred (Fresh grads may apply)
• Handle and manage tender submission via portals such as GeBIZ (Govt), SESAMi, Zycus, Ariba, etc
• Meet deadlines for tender submissions
• Good knowledge of MS Office apps
• Experience in bid submissions would be an advantage
