Job Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Market Making Specialists in the team, the Operations Executive will support day-to-day trading operations to ensure the smooth execution and settlement of trades across various products and several exchanges. Candidate will also be required to liaise with stakeholders from different business units to deliver solutions, and actively participate to streamline operational processes. Other duties may include data collection, and research and analysis.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in any discipline, preferably in a quantitative field
• Well-organised and meticulous
• Independent and able to accomplish tasks with little guidance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Procurement Coordinator/Executive is responsible for participating in routine sourcing and purchasing activities to obtain the materials, equipment and services to deliver on projects involving ships, rigs and/or conversions. He/She typically comes from an engineering background with work experience in prodcution and/or design. He/She able to translate project requirements into specifications for materials, equipment and services to procure.

He/She should be comfortable engaging and interacting with vendors and other external parties, to fulfil his/her responsibilities in coordinating vendor selection processes, maintaining vendor contract records and databases, and following up on vendors' deliverables.

~ Clarify bid queries with vendors.
~ Coordinate procurement operations with vendors and stakeholders.
~ Draft sourcing schedules based on project plans.
~ Gather data on vendor performance to propose improvements.
~ Gather feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of current sourcing strategies.
~ Highlight sourcing issues for management's action.
~ Maintain procurement database and documentation.
~ Maintain sourcing documentationin the procurement management system.
~ Maintain vendor information and records.
~ Manage vendor contracts.
~ Manage vendors' conformance to delivery schedules and product specifications.
~ Monitor vendor performance.
~ Prepare reports on assessments of bids received.
~ Process payments to vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 1 year relevant experience

· Excellent communication skills with customers, colleagues and other parties

· Ability to plan, organize and schedule own workload

· Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and commitment

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking client.
