Founded in 2020, Antina is a JV between Starhub Mobile and M1 and is responsible for the rolling out of the 5G Standalone (SA) Radio Access Network (RAN) in Singapore for the two mobile network operators.
The Standalone 5G (SA) RAN is a game-changing ultra-high speed, low-latency network, and one which will enable new use cases across entertainment, cloud gaming, transportation, education and healthcare. 5G is used across three main types of connected services, including enhanced mobile broadband, mission-critical communications, and the massive IoT.

Non-standalone 5G (NSA) was the first stage of 5G, using a new 5G radio (or 5G NR) access network overlaid on an existing 4G LTE network core.
