Expected tasks / responsibilities

1. Job shadow / On-job training, OJT of Production Engineer to understand cable manufacturing process.
2. Problem understanding of current methods of manual production data collection with the intent of improving the process flow and to digitize where possible.
3. Data acquisition of shop floor data to set baseline targets for production improvement
4. Research and testing of hypothesis on production parameters we want to improve
5. Project management of one or two projects to improve factory productivity / efficiency using existing or acquired skillsets.

Your main responsibility would be to co-conceptualise and create content across our digital channels, which includes:

• Instagram
• TikTok (basic)

To create the content, you’ll be engaged in photography, basic videography, editing, some graphic design (for emailers and website) and writing of basic captions.

You'll also have to retrieve existing content from various platforms (social media channels, emails, from other content creators) and organise them into various folders for easy access in the future.

For you to be able to manage these responsibilities well, we have a developed a 4 weeks training programme for you so that you'll be ready for the job.

The goal of this project is to develop an automated, accurate, and reliable system for transcribing and translating VHF radio communications. The system should deliver clear transcriptions and translations of each speaker’s input. If time permits, an additional feature will involve generating a situation summary based on the communication.

Due to limited availability of real-world data, this project will also involve data collection and generation, which could include sourcing open datasets or simulating relevant data using different methods.
