Operations and Processes

1. Manage all store operations in a systematic and efficient manner, as per established policies and procedures.
2. Manage the annual leave plan of the store, ensuring sufficient manpower for the operations.
3. Direct the shop operation on a daily basis to ensure delivery of commercial targets.
4. Ensure all established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards are consistently executed and maintained in the store.
5. Ensure merchandise deliveries are processed on the same day they arrive and the store’s entire product offer is made immediately available and easily accessible to customers on a consistent basis.
6. Ensure cash register transactions are processed quickly and accurately.
7. Lead and implement all applicable loss prevention policies and procedures.
8. Maintain a safe and productive shopping and working environment.
9. Implement seasonal/quarterly merchandise launch and in-store marketing promotion.
10. Participate in planning & presenting monthly team meetings.
11. Work with Merchandising Team and Warehouse Team to ensure stock availability and delivery to achieve sales targets.
12. Inventory management - Prepare, manage & execute accurate bi-yearly stock take to avoid product shrinkage.
13. Provide monthly consumer and retail feedback to all retail adidas related teams.
14. Ensure offices and stockroom are clean and provide for a good working environment.
15. Work with Manager, Retail Operations to execute Mystery shopper program and implementing corrective actions plans.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join our team. The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance brand equity. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and a deep understanding of consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans ( E-commerce & key channels) for our core brand, developing brands and new brands.
• Work with our team of Key Account Managers to launch and manage Advertising and Promotion campaigns for the entire year ANP plan.
• Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape with findings for key risks and drivers for growing new brands.
• Collaborate with Procurement teams to develop in-house brands from product development phase, source and negotiate new brands with external Principal, develop test launch with key Account managers at Channels and growing all brands through yearly trade marketing.
• Set and manage brand budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI across all brands.
• Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising and promotion to ensure consistency in strategies implementation and review for improvement in sales.
• Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Build, maintain strong relationships with external partners such as advertising agencies and media outlets to employ their services to support Advertising and Promotional Campaign to advise Principal and Channel partners.
• Ensure all brand communications are consistent with the brand’s voice, values, and positioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA welcome.
• Proven experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and market research techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Administrative Matters

• Prepare and maintain an updated inventory listing of ingredients, packaging materials, and kitchen equipment, and submit it to the Accounts Department.
• Manage pending invoices and ensure timely updates in the Procurement System.
• Review orders from restaurant partners and categorize requests to streamline production scheduling.
• Prepare and submit petty cash claims related to kitchen and production expenses.
• Perform any other ad-hoc administrative tasks necessary for business operations.

Logistics-related Matters

• Ensure all bakery products and restock items are prepared and ready before scheduled deliveries.
• Conduct regular stock checks for key ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies; place orders for items that are below par.
• Review and distribute production orders for the kitchen team and delivery schedules for the drivers.
• Coordinate ad-hoc delivery bookings with third-party drivers or logistics partners as required.
• Maintain the Food Hygiene Certification File and verify that all food handlers have valid and up-to-date certifications.

• Schedule appropriate levels of production staff to effectively meet our Brand Promise
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant provincial/federal legislation
• Establish, continually test, update, and meet the established product yield specification on all finished products
• Ensure the production plan is accurate and well-developed on a daily and weekly basis, and then executed with precision and enthusiasm
• Maintain food quality and food safety requirements and meet or exceed the requirements for a safe workplace
• Ensure the production schedule (workflow, production processes, staffing model, production floor layout, etc.) meets our customer requirements.

• Experience managing qualified staff and distributing workload.

• Expertise in project financial management and cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

Requirements and skills

· Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or similar role

· Proven customer service experience as a manager

· Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

· Familiarity with restaurant management software

· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

· Acute financial management skills
