The Department Manager is a professional in the assigned goods category who is responsible for promoting brand loyalty to customers in the luxury goods sector in order to guarantee the achievement of the quantitative and qualitative objectives set for his/her department and for the store. Sales:

• Defines quantitative and qualitative objectives and ensures they are achieved by results analysis, verifying monthly activities and setting up yearly assessments.

• Makes sure that the internal procedures are fully respected.

Product:

• Has a deep product knowledge of his / her department.
• Personally manages all delicate situations regarding issues related to the product.

· To be accountable for delivering sales volume to meet targeted sales objectives.

· To be responsible for the planning and implementation of our new product’s launching activities

· To liaise and negotiate with local market personnel & buyers and suppliers directly in India for products procurement.

· Should have knowledge about the geographical and seasonal availability of products like spices, grains for procuring at right time and should able to negotiate with the suppliers for best prices.

· Should coordinate with the overseas team in preparing spice powders (Masala powders) to suggest the flavours and quantity which are required by customers in the local market.

· To build and strengthen the relationships with buyers, retails personnel and relevant parties to ensure smooth operations of business.

· To promote and market the products to the local buyers, to market new products from overseas especially from India to local market.

· To be ready to travel overseas to procure products, should possess local market product knowledge especially about Indian products.

· Should liaise with import and export companies to for product procurement.

· To lead, supervise and manage our merchandising team to ensure the effectiveness of works

· Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company

· Make product appeal to the target market

· Managing communications between key clients and internal teams

· Working with sales team, creative, advertising, logistics and team members from other departments to ensure the highest quality of products are being procured and sold.

To resolve any inquiries/issues/complaints arising from the outlets and customers.

· Project Planning:Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Estimate resources and budgets for project completion.

· Budget Management:Prepare and manage the project budget.
Monitor financial performance and ensure costs are controlled.
Approve expenditures and ensure cost efficiency.

· Resource Management:Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Procure materials, labor, and services, ensuring quality and adherence to the project timeline.
Ensure the availability and proper allocation of resources (staff, equipment, materials).

· Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Address unexpected delays or issues that may arise during the construction process.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

· Team Leadership:Lead and motivate construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed as scheduled.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, clients, and other parties involved.
Communicate regularly with clients and provide project updates.

· Quality Control:Oversee the quality of work throughout the construction process.
Conduct inspections to ensure the project meets design specifications and standards.
Ensure the use of appropriate construction techniques and materials.

· Documentation and Reporting:Maintain project records, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders and upper management.
Prepare project closure documentation, including final reports and as-built drawings.

• Able to prepare tender including the pricing for management's review
• Able to prepare budgetary breakdowns and present cost reports to management
• Able to prepare cash flow projections for management's review
• Able to discuss variation works and final account for the main contract with consultants
• Able to call quotation, prepare quotation comparison and negotiate with subcontractors prior to award of subcontract works
• Able to attend and handle tender interviews

• Degree in Building Management Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a construction company
• Independent & able to meet dateline set
