Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team on a 6-month contract. The primary focus of this role is to support the company’s sales transactions by providing expert legal advice, managing contract reviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely legal counsel to management on topics including NDAs, vendor registration processes, codes of conduct, master agreements, and sales and purchase contracts.
• Review sales and purchase contracts to ensure alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Product Management teams to draft and finalize contract wording and content.
• Work closely with the Finance team to address revenue recognition and performance obligations in customer contracts.
• Maintain comprehensive contract administration, including tracking contracts under negotiation and managing signed agreements.
• Coordinate the signing and distribution of final contracts to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee all stages of legal disputes in collaboration with senior management.
• Liaise with external law firms to address specific legal issues and obtain expert advice as needed.
• Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the company does not enter into unfavorable contracts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or Master degree in Law or relevant
• Proven experience (min 5 years PQE) as a legal counsel in business environment

PEOPLE

- Protects Company brand by consulting and coaching to ensure that the restaurants meet Takagi Ramen’s QSC, safety and sanitization standards

- Represents Company interest in local community and properly executes market wide promotions

BUSINESS RESULTS

- Uses all informational resources available to identify opportunities and threats to build a business plan to optimize market potential

- Supports & coaches so that restaurants are appropriately staffed with competent Staff and Restaurant Managers, and to develop, administer and control the budget for the district

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B industry

Ensuring that all security staff are trained on policies and procedures including conflict resolution techniques

· Maintaining good relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure they can be called upon in case of an emergency
