Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Key liaison person responsible for organising, planning and implementation of important meetings and activities involving key customers and senior management team of the company
• Undertake associated facility and inventory and vendor management
• Key presenter of company information to visitors
• Formulate process flows for daily office management, including service briefing, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of managing guest reception, conference/meeting and VIP lunch/dinner events
• Actively source for viable F&B options, accommodation, transportation, and recreational activities in Singapore, effectively control supplier service quality, and continuously improve stakeholder’s satisfaction, according to the company’s standards
• Application of foreign guests' visa
• Any other tasks/duties as assigned

Requirements

• Polytechnic or University graduate in Hospitality/Hotel management, Human Resources Management or Business-related disciplines with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in VIP/Customer Experience in hospitality or customer service will be advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Fluent in English in speaking and writing with good communication skills to attend to overseas visitors/VIPs. Working knowledge of Chinese is a strong advantage as majority of visitors are Mandarin-speaking.

The Human Resources Officer/Senior Officer reports to the Manager, Human Resources Branch. Based at the DAS Head Office in Jurong Point, he/ she will provide operational and administrative support for the Human Resources Branch.

The Human Resources Officer/Senior Officer performs a variety of tasks related to Human Resources including but not limited to:

• Assisting the HR Manager in identifying and developing policy and procedure updates/amendments in conjunction with best practice and local legislation
• Analyzing trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains talent
• Review monthly payroll computations and reconciliations
• Managing and coordinating end to end recruitment process
• Handling staff onboarding and off boarding process
• Following up on staff confirmation
• Monitoring and following up on staff contracts, including re-employment
• Monitoring work pass expiry and submitting work pass application and renewal
• Managing student internships and teacher attachments
