The Special Legal Projects Officer (“SLPO”) is the principal support staff for the Executive Director of the Law Society and will report directly to the Executive Director. Your focus will be to support the business, operations, and tech teams on contracts with third parties (including with group entities) to support Trust and its customer value proposition. You will help with the overall strategy in these areas and be a key decision maker for the legal team. In addition to your technology focus, you will also work on other legal matters, including supporting one of our banking products, and on other general legal matters. The Role Responsibility:

· First point of contact on legal team for the business for any third-party contracts (including with group entities), lead these contract negotiations, drafting, and suggest solutions whenever possible

· Coordinate workflow of contracts to be signed, including assigning contracts to others on the legal team

· Provide updates to the business on overall status of legal contract workstream
