The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for the sales of security and communication systems projects. He/she has to ensure the profitability of project orders secured as well as order intake targets and margins are met with. Build up portfolio of prospects, monitor prospects being followed up and support marketing efforts.
Job Responsiblities:
- Review consultants’ specifications and customers’ requirements and ensure they are clearly understood and complied with
- Lead the design of the various systems to ensure compliance at optimized cost
- Gather market feedback and information
- Collate quotations from suppliers, and study and analyze for suitability for intended projects
- Assume ownership for the allocated prospects
- Coordinate and facilitate customer requirements.
- Work closely with the projects and service team for a seamless project implementation.
- Meet consultants and customers regularly
- Work with team mates in preparation of response to major tenders and sales enquiries
- Report to Sales Director for prospects and follow up and special marketing efforts where required
- Organise and lead special marketing activities
- With at least 5 years relevant project sales experience in similar industry, including successful management of various projects
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in complex and diverse work environment
- Strong commercial feel, with aptitude for project / order closing.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate aptitude for effective leadership
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical or similar) with relevant project sales experience
- With 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry, including successful management of various projects
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in complex and diverse work environment
- Strong commercial feel, with aptitude for project / order closing.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate aptitude for effective leadership
