• Implement and maintain security configuration across our IT infrastructure (including M365, Google Workspaces, ClickUp, Bitbucket, and etc.)
• Guide IT managers of the group companies per the headquarters' directive.
• Effectively manage and analyze system logs on an ongoing basis.
• Remain updated about the latest security vulnerabilities and take immediate action if necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure secure, smooth operations.
• Handle client inquiries about our proprietary applications.
• Automate redundant tasks using programming language skills.
• Regularly monitor and maintain system metrics dashboard and alerts.
• Educate colleagues and enhance company documentation about our IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech department at Japan HQ.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of extensive experience in IT-related fields.
• Proficient reading and writing skills in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking counterparts.
• Exceptionally good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear knowledge of AWS, Azure(Entra), and/or GCP Services, relating to software development.
• Strong ability to configure SIEM and Power BI tools.
• In-depth familiarization with account management and data security.
• Experience in creating, monitoring and responding to security events.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Chinese, Malay, or Thai for liaising with Chinese/Malay/Thai speaking counterparts.
• Proven experience with Cyber Incident Response Plan (CIRP).
• Expertise in vulnerability management, penetration testing, and implementing security incident response processes.
• Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies.
• Knowledge of network security design and implementation.
• Experience in using vulnerability scanning tools and security tools.
• Proven record of enhancing cloud security through policy implementation and monitoring.
• Experience in promoting social engineering and phishing countermeasures.
• Ability to provide in-house security training.

Professional security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Enforces company rules and regulation and requirements of the Port Facility Security Plan
• Drafts and maintains company procedures and risk assessment, ensuring company procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary
• Oversees and troubleshoots Security systems under the security department such as CCTV system, access control gantries, barriers, etc
• Retrieves and stores CCTV footages required for investigation cases
• Maintains inventory of Security IT/OT devices and the status of each device
• Oversees the repairs and maintenance of Security IT/OT devices. This includes discussing with network and IT teams on activities that may affect regular security operations and coordinating steps to resolve vulnerability issues such as patch updates and others.
• Logs, reports and addresses Security IT/OT hardware and software faults to the correct party and follow up on each case under the issue has been resolved
• Assists Security Manager to review and update technology data risk assessment
• Collates and organizes information collated from Security Department Records such as Security Daily Reports, Cases Statistics, Patrol Findings & Detection Records, Leading & Lagging Statistics, Visitor Entry/Exit Logs, Outward Permit Records, etc.
• Develops and manages databases of Security related information
• Identifies and interprets trends or patterns that could lead to potential security exploits through data analysis
• Creates management dashboards to assist in tracking of departmental activity progress and quick generation of reports

Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant working experience performing technology-related work
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Power Automate, PowerApps, etc
• Good technical knowledge of computers, access control systems & devices, CCTV hardware and software and other common security, IT and OT equipment
• Has experience managing security IT/OT systems such as CCTV hardware / software, access control, biometric or card door and gantry systems, cark park barrier systems, Patrol Clocking devices, etc
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Physically fit to perform checks and inspection on tools, equipment and systems in yard operational areas, building and perimeter
• Able to single handedly resolve and converse with relevant IT departments or suppliers on physical security system issues
