The successful incumbent will Assistant Director, Operations / Lead Reintegration Mentor in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations at Selarang Halfway House (SHWH) or future new site at Cosford and is responsible for the safety and welfare of the residents and the overall security of the Halfway House premises. Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee security screening to ensure contrabands are not brought into the house.

2. Facilitate the daily operational routine of SHWH or future new site:

a) Ensure the day-to-day needs of the residents and operational requirements of the halfway house are being met.

Core Responsibilities

This role will provide contract management (80%) and corporate secretarial coordination (20%) services with a business partnering attitude to support the LEGO Group’s commercial operations in the APAC region.

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Work closely with APAC Legal Team to draft, review, negotiate and monitor LEGO Group’s sales and distribution contracts for the APAC region
• Provide crucial contract management services to internal collaborators by providing guidance to the different teams on contract generation, identify contracting issues, resolve conflicts, provide/coordinate legal advice, renew and redraft contracts
• Maintain, improve and update our standard contract templates according to local laws and internal practices
• Handle an accurate database of signed contracts and connect with internal and external collaborators on the status of the contracts.
• Handle such other contract management duties as assigned from time to time
• Provide general corporate secretarial support for legal maintenance of LEGO Group’s entities in APAC, including overseeing local compliances and regulatory filings by working with outside counsels and supporting corporate activities and projects such as board meeting preparation, director changes, de-registration of companies, etc

This role is part of the LEGO Group’s China & APAC Legal team and will be reporting to the Legal Director of APAC. There is possibility of further extension of this contract position, depending on performance and business requirements.

Do you have what it takes:

• Bachelor/Diploma/Certification in law, contracts, paralegal, business administration, finance or similar field
• Min. 5 years prior experience working as a contract manager or related job role
• Prior experience handling regional contract management and corporate secretarial related work
• Contract drafting and negotiation skill
• Meticulous and thorough
• Good organisation skills, and able to multi-task
• Good written communication skills in English
• Strong communication, collaborator management and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently, and under pressure, to meet deadlines
• Prior experience in a multi-national company or consumer industry
• Working knowledge of contract management systems

This is an established financial institution based in Singapore looking for a legal counsel to provide interim lega; support for 1 year. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advise on general legal issues including the provision of legal and regulatory advice to the support the business domestically and across the region on financial services legal matters.

Ideal requirements:

• Singapore qualified lawyer with 7 to 12 years of experience covering both private practise and in-house, familiar with financial services regulatory issues including litigation matters
• Able to work independently and is resourceful
• Possess good communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders
• Able to work onsite

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on current and prospective investments, including valuation assessments and performance analysis.
• Oversee the preparation of Management Accounts and Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements both locally and globally.
• Provide support for investment activities, focusing on financial products such as public equities and real estate investments.
• Act as the main liaison with tax service providers to ensure compliance with jurisdiction-specific tax regulations, primarily in Singapore and the United States.

• Stay informed about financial markets and trends, with a strong understanding of private and public market dynamics.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the finance or investment industry, preferably in asset and wealth management.
• Hands-on experience with the U.S. stock and property markets, demonstrating strong market understanding.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, for analytical and reporting purposes.
• Strong analytical acumen with excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills, alongside full fluency in English.
