RESPONSIBILITY

• Conduct white box and black box security scan, harden systems and application platform

• Develop scripts to automate systems hardening and security vulnerability assessment

• Maintain security test suite in QA build

• Optimize system performance and reliability to enhance user experience.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and securityWork with Software Quality Engineer on system integration testing

• Work with Software Quality Engineer to manage defect life cycle

• Work with Software Quality Engineer to improve testing processes and tools

• Take on secondary role as an Application Performance Engineer or Software Quality Engineer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security in the development pipeline

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Min 2 years of experience in application security vulnerability assessment, analysis and remediation

• Experience in agile development environment will be an added advantage

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, using Gitlab or other similar tools will be an added advantage

• Experience in public cloud providers such as GPC, GCC (i.e. AWS, Azure,Google Cloud) will be an added advantage

• Experience with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map, Nessus, Nmap, Fortify WebInspect or equivalence will be an added advantage.

• Experience with Checkmarx or equivalence will be an added advantage

• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalence will be an added advantage

• Experience using Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) Tools such as ZAP, Burp Suite, Micro focus WebInspect or equivalence will be an added advantage.

• Experience using Static Application Security Testing (SAST) Tools such as Micro focus Fortify, Checkmarx or equivalence will be an added advantage.

• Security testing-specific certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), CREST Registered Penetration Tester (CRT) or equivalence will be an added advantage.

• Risk management-specific certifications such as Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalence will be an added advantage

Job Description

Architect, design, review and implement cyber security resilient in our product and projects. You are familiar with cloud security architectures and solutions, making sure the companies can operate in a safe, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in managing CyberSecurity VAPT, Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Management and Testing.
• Manage Network and Cloud Security Risk Assessment and Audit.
• Involved in handling Government Projects related to risk, security attacks and system solutions.
• Consultancy on software and hardware for security vulnerabilities and risks
• Plan VAPT, execution, result analysis and provide fix recommendation.
• Provide guideline such as coding, key management, hardening, patch management, backup management, incident management, etc.
• Familiar with IM8 requirements and CIS, NIST security benchmark, cyber security tools to perform preliminary scan.

Skills Required

Primary responsibilities:

• Participate in projects for customers as a Lead EMVCo/Visa/Mastercard Evaluator to be responsible for the technical and/or methodological quality of projects.

Specific responsibilities:

• Participate in projects for SGS Brightsight customers as a Lead EMVCo/Visa/Mastercard Evaluator.
• Evaluate payment related products for different customers with in-depth understanding of the total field of EMVCo/Visa/Mastercard and the causes of security demands in evaluation methods.
• Responsible for the technical and/or methodological quality of projects.
• Represent SGS Brightsight in the field of EMVCo/Visa/Mastercard to customers and during conferences and events.
• Actively involved in defining internal R&D programs and take an active role in supporting the acquisition of projects.
• Guide other colleagues in their development and communication to customers.
• Applies judgement and acts according to SGS standards of ethics and integrity.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in a technical field of study such as Information Technology, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in EMVCo/Visa/Mastercard projects preferably as an Evaluator but otherwise as a Consultant or Developer.
• Track record in EMVCo/Visa/ Mastercard projects.
• Familiar with the international schemes and contributed to several certificates for EMVCo/Visa/ Mastercard evaluations.
• Hands-on knowledge of security tools and solutions.
• Ability to understand laws and regulations as it applies to payment industry Security & Risk.
• Hands-on experience in security systems including IC's, SOC's, hardware security features and attacks, payment systems.
• Possess a hacker mentality.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, to understand client needs and deliver to meet their expectations.
• Willingness and ability to travel if and when required.
