Core Responsibilities
This role will provide contract management (80%) and corporate secretarial coordination (20%) services with a business partnering attitude to support the LEGO Group’s commercial operations in the APAC region.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Work closely with APAC Legal Team to draft, review, negotiate and monitor LEGO Group’s sales and distribution contracts for the APAC region
- Provide crucial contract management services to internal collaborators by providing guidance to the different teams on contract generation, identify contracting issues, resolve conflicts, provide/coordinate legal advice, renew and redraft contracts
- Maintain, improve and update our standard contract templates according to local laws and internal practices
- Handle an accurate database of signed contracts and connect with internal and external collaborators on the status of the contracts.
- Handle such other contract management duties as assigned from time to time
- Provide general corporate secretarial support for legal maintenance of LEGO Group’s entities in APAC, including overseeing local compliances and regulatory filings by working with outside counsels and supporting corporate activities and projects such as board meeting preparation, director changes, de-registration of companies, etc

This role is part of the LEGO Group’s China & APAC Legal team and will be reporting to the Legal Director of APAC. There is possibility of further extension of this contract position, depending on performance and business requirements.

Do you have what it takes:
- Bachelor/Diploma/Certification in law, contracts, paralegal, business administration, finance or similar field
- Min. 5 years prior experience working as a contract manager or related job role
- Prior experience handling regional contract management and corporate secretarial related work
- Contract drafting and negotiation skill
- Meticulous and thorough
- Good organisation skills, and able to multi-task
- Good written communication skills in English
- Strong communication, collaborator management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, and under pressure, to meet deadlines
- Prior experience in a multi-national company or consumer industry
- Working knowledge of contract management systems
