Altum Law Corporation is a boutique law firm that practises corporate law exclusively. We focus on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), regulatory compliance and governance matters, private equity and private clients. We were recently ranked in Legal500 for our capital markets practice. We are currently looking for Paralegal / Legal Associate to join our team of lawyers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting and assisting our team of lawyers in drafting legal and corporate secretarial documents such as corporate resolutions, agreements, circulars and announcements, wills and trusts etc

2. Regulatory filings with government agencies such as the Singapore Exchange, ACRA, IRAS

3. Legal research

4. Opportunity to liaise and interact directly with clients and other professionals in legal, audit and accounting and tax.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should have the following:

- A diploma or degree (preferably in law) obtained from a reputable educational institution

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

- Strong work ethics

- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

- Ability to work both independently and in a team

- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, especially MS Word

- Prior work experience in law firms would be a plus, although fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Job Responsibilities:

The role involves managing all legal aspects of the Group's business, including M&As, JVs, and investments, as well as handling general corporate legal matters and compliance. Responsibilities include providing legal advice, managing litigation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with external counsel. Additionally, the position entails overseeing compliance policies, corporate secretarial duties, and risk management activities. The incumbent is also responsible for facilitating training, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and liaising with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate commercial law, ideally gained in-house or in a law firm.
• Strong understanding of legal advice related to general corporate advisory work, including company and contract law.
• Familiarity with SGX Listing Rules and Regulations is advantageous.
• Completion of ICSA or relevant postgraduate/professional qualifications would be beneficial.

Bayfront Law LLC is looking for (a) one secretary to join our corporate department, (b) one secretary to join our disputes department, and (c) one billing/invoicing staff to join our administrative team.

Ideal candidates should be team players with a sense of responsibility. A good command of written and spoken English, proficiency with MS Office applications and excellent organizational skills are pre-requisites for this role.

• Analyse problems, perform troubleshooting, and track problems through resolution.
• Responsible for monitoring activities, such as network and bandwidth usage
• When necessary, escalate problems to the appropriate stakeholders / principals
• Ensure generation and management of support tickets according to SLA requirements
• Schedule and run periodic maintenance for network infrastructure at the data centre
• Plan and manage change request and / or maintenance activities for network operations including firmware patches.
• Ensuring zero service level breaches and achieve 100% compliance with policy and procedure.
• Perform Change Request, Service Request as assigned by team lead according to the SLA.
• Managing of Cisco Routers and Switches and perform firmware patching on network equipment.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, although
consideration will be given to experience and certifications in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a network engineer within the operations
environment.
• Good grasp of technical skills (network)
• Must possess CCNA / CCNP certification
