We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Cybersecurity Architect with expertise in application, data, middleware, platform and infrastructure security to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for new initiatives and projects; while also playing a key role in enhancing and optimizing existing security setups to ensure they meet industry standards and align with organizational objectives.

Security Architecture and Advisory

• To lead solutioning partnerships with stakeholders from IT, OT and business to define and deliver emerging security reference architectures and solutions.
• Lead security design reviews and provide technical guidance to project teams throughout the software development lifecycle and implement security by design principles
• Front technical discussions on cybersecurity-related matters and other emerging technology domains with stakeholders in Infra, application development and enterprise architect teams.
• Recommend and drive cybersecurity solution and initiatives to improve the cybersecurity posture of the organisation.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to establish and maintain the desired security posture across various technology stacks, including infrastructure, applications, and data.

Application and Data Security

• Define and implement secure design practices for data and APIs, ensuring proper authentication, authorization, and protection from common threats.
• Implement application security best practices, including secure coding standards, threat modelling, and vulnerability assessments.
• Guide and contribute application and data security design approaches, ranging from high level overview to deep dive into implementation details

Infrastructure Security

• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to ensure secure configurations, and implement servers, networks and endpoints security best practices.
• Collaborate with OT/ICS teams to strengthen security controls for industrial systems.

Compliance and Governance

• Keep abreast of the cybersecurity trends, industry standards and new technology to improve security maturity within Jurong Port
• Perform security reviews, identifying gaps in security architecture, and developing a security risk management plan for Jurong Port, ensuring that the developed systems and architecture are consistent with the organisation’s cybersecurity policy.
• Define and manage architecture artefacts such as standard operating procedures documents, application security guides, reference documents, blueprints, technical and non-technical security requirements.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, regulatory requirement such as CCoP, and relevant data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on application and data security.
• Hands-on experience designing secure systems and architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Experienced in Security by Design principles and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS and CCoP.
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS Certified Security or similar are highly desirable
• Capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in technology and tools evaluation and recommendation in any or all areas of security from infrastructure to application.

Job Description:

• To perform lobby, patrol and escort duties.

The successful incumbent will Assistant Director, Operations / Lead Reintegration Mentor in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations at Selarang Halfway House (SHWH) or future new site at Cosford and is responsible for the safety and welfare of the residents and the overall security of the Halfway House premises. They will work closely with the SHWH Case Managers to aid residents with their reintegration back to society.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee security screening to ensure contrabands are not brought into the house.

2. Facilitate the daily operational routine of SHWH or future new site:

a) Ensure the day-to-day needs of the residents and operational requirements of the halfway house are being met.

b) Facilitate the process of residents checking in and out of the halfway house on a daily basis and provide daily updates on the headcount and other activities/incidents (if any) throughout the tour of duty. Any unusual movements should be highlighted and reported to the relevant parties.

c) To ensure that there is seamless transition during the handing and taking over of shift duties. The jobholder is also responsible in ensuring that all outstanding matters have been clearly communicated to the next duty personnel and are promptly followed up with.

d) Provide logistical support to residents during their stay in SHWH or future new site. To assist occasionally with carrying & moving of bulky/heavy items.

e) Conduct patrols and searches in the SHWH Living Units to ensure the safety of residents.

3. Work closely with Case Managers in the case management of residents, including monitoring and maintaining proper records on the progress, movement, and other relevant information pertaining to the residents.

4. Assist in handling any grievance procedure and carrying out preliminary investigation of incidents and/or disciplinary issues (when assigned).

5. Identify any defect(s) or work(s) to be carried out pertaining to the halfway house’s estate management issues during daily tour of duty and to feedback to Singapore Prison Service Corporate Services Team for follow up.

Any Other Duties

To carry out any other duties as assigned by Assistant Director, Operations / Lead Reintegration Mentor

Requirements

• Recognized Diploma in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in operations (especially in residential or secured settings), security or provost functions.

(B) Part-Time Work Shift Cycle

4.5hrs per day (rotating shift including night duty)

8 days work in a 14 day cycle

Position Summary:

Ensure, manage and maintain a high security standard on the overall safety and security of the premises as well as the car parking system and account for the car park revenue. Provides investigation lead into losses, theft and other criminal activities. Advises on crisis, risk & safety management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Security & Safety

• Ensure that the Hotel is a secure and safe environment for guests, visitors and associates
• Reviews all security measures and procedures on a regular basis to ensure high security standard in the Hotel
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate the CERT team when responding to emergencies and alarm activations
• To act as a representative for the Hotel in liaising with Government law enforcement agencies affecting Security and Safety
• To carry out investigations of security incidents including thefts and losses in the Hotel and submit reports to the General Manager
• To ensure proper control of keys kept at the KMS (Key Management System) for emergency purposes or for daily draw-down and return by various users
• To lead and be responsible for the Hotel in complying with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and any of its subsidiary regulation
• To assist the Fire Safety Manager in monitoring compliance to the Fire Safety Act and any regulations imposed by the Fire Safety Bureau

Other responsibilities

Financial

1. Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
2. To take necessary and appropriate action to protect operating equipment against loss, wastage through mishandling, negligence or dishonesty.

Guest Experience

1. To ensure that hotel management receives excellent security related services
2. To engage with guest whilst on duty in lobby and any guest facing areas

Other duties

1. Recommending appropriate measures for enhancing and hardening security & risk management related matters on all aspects of the Hotel’s premises
2. Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
3. Any other duties of a comparable nature as may be required by the General Manager
