• Respond quickly and consistently to internal and external requests for advice

• Internal investigations for the Evonik locations in India and South East Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand)

REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed law degree from an Indian university
• At least two years of professional experience either as lawyer in a reputable law firm, or as in-house lawyer within an industrial company
• Competency in providing consultancy in Indian law as well as a proven background in Corporate and Commercial Law
• Conducting internal investigations
• Fluent English language skills, written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
• Solution-focused work approach, high level of commitment as well as excellent communication and team skills
• Negotiating skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness
• Willingness to travel India/SEAANZ-wide (ca. 10%)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forensics & Incident Response Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in analyzing security incidents, conducting proactive threat hunts, and investigating breaches.

About the Role:

Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR)

• Conduct comprehensive digital forensic investigations of security incidents, including malware infections, data breaches, insider threats, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
• Analyze and interpret security incidents and vulnerabilities using forensic tools and methodologies.
• Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from various systems and environments.
• Develop and execute incident response plans, provide guidance on containment, eradication, and recovery processes.
• Document findings and produce detailed investigation reports for internal stakeholders and external authorities, if necessary.
• Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure evidence handling follows industry standards and regulations. Threat Hunting
• Participate and assist in the buildup of the threat hunting capability.
• Participate/Support the development of threat hunting systems and tools to automate or facilitate threat hunting.
• Lead/participate in the threat hunting projects to hunt for unknown threats focusing on discovering new or unknown Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
• Develop and use threat hunting methodologies and tools to identify vulnerabilities, anomalies, and suspicious activities.
• Identify and research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to stay ahead of attackers.
• Utilize threat intelligence feeds, behavior analytics, and machine learning to improve detection and hunting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Digital Forensics, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting.
• Relevant industry certifications such as GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent certifications is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Axiom) and threat hunting methodology.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and other security tools.
• Good understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate incident response and threat hunting tasks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-priority tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities:

• Revenue Generation: Lead efforts to achieve revenue targets for the business areas. Develop and implement channel strategies with focus vendors in the Government and Enterprise sectors. Drive profitability through strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
• Customer and Vendor Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams to establish a customer engagement model that ensures exceptional customer experiences. Foster strong relationships with focus vendors and assist in establishing a vendor engagement framework. Conduct quarterly business reviews with focus vendors, providing feedback and strategies for improvement.
• Agile Project and Tender Support: Refine existing processes to support agile project and bulk tender requirements. Streamline onboarding, training, and certification processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
• Go-to-Market Planning: Conduct GTM planning and quota setting in collaboration with focus vendors. Develop comprehensive strategies to penetrate target markets and drive market share growth. Monitor partner program status and compliance to maximize partner performance.
• Contract Management: Track contracts and legal obligations with focus vendors. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Proactively manage contract renewals and extensions.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage key relationships with focus vendors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and product teams, to drive growth and support joint initiatives. Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and effective execution.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth through strategic alliances, preferably in the information security industry.
• Strong understanding of the Gov, Enterprise, and commercial sectors, including key market trends and customer dynamics.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-making.
