• Assist the Architect to coordinate design detailing between Clients and Consultants

About the Team

The Audit Partner will oversee our teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam, managing a clientele that includes many established MNCs and listed companies, both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

Oversee full spectrum of assurance client portfolio, The ideal candidate is single minded in their pursuit of ensuring compliance, ethical and achieves this goal through optimizing reporting procedures and driving the successful function of the audit team.

• Manage a portfolio of assurance clients , developing new client relationship to ensure business growth.
• Responsible for audit engagements’ quality is in compliance with professional standards and requirements, delivery, and budget including control of billings and payment collection.
• Performance other non-audit assignment such as - IPO, financial due diligent, valuation, etc.
• Possesses and conformance with up-to-date technical knowledge on auditing, IT and accounting.
• Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competences.
• Actively impart technical skills to team members through on-the-job training (OJT), constant check on performance of the team and tries to resolve any discrepancies, if any.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines.
• Ensure that auditing functions are completed in a professional manner and on the given time.
• Collaborate and communicate with the respective partners on client issue resolution and make recommendation for any legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement.
• Conduct internal training for assurance and other departments on SSA, SSQM and FRS when required.

Requirements:

• Must possess a Practice Certificate and be registered as a Public Accountant with ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority).
• Must hold the Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore) designation and be a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
• Proven track record in auditing Singapore-listed companies, demonstrating deep knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform feasibility study, concept design, front end engineering design (FEED) and detailed designs for concrete and steel structures in Energy and Industrial related facilities such as pile foundation, footings, pilecaps, pipe racks, sleepers, pipe bridge, equipment plinths, underground pipeline culvert, drainage, sewerage, road works
• Prepare related material take off (MTO) for cost estimates
• Prepare tender specifications, project requirement, carry out tender evaluation for projects
• Conduct project presentation to clients and stakeholders
• Project management for engineering works
• Perform authorities’ pre-consultation, submissions and liaison with authorities for necessary approvals and permits

Requirements:

• Degree in C&S Engineering, preferably from a university recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers’ Board (PEB), with strong competency in concrete, steel and foundation design.
• Able to perform concrete and steel structural analysis and design, and preferably also working knowledge in using application related to geotechnical design like Plaxis and Geoslope.
• Experience in marine facilities’ design would be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant design experience in concrete, steel and foundation structures, drainage, sewerage and road works, preferably in a consultancy firm
• Candidate with more than 15 years of relevant design experience and/or a locally registered Professional Engineer will be considered for higher position
• Knowledge in Eurocodes, BS Codes. Knowledge in NFPA, API would be an added advantage
• Conversant with local authorities’ requirement, pre-consultations and submissions
• Experience in performing feasibility study, conceptual, FEED and detailed design, preferably, able to perform basic CAD drafting
• Possesses skill in project management, conducting presentation, effective communication and good report writing skills
• Good spoken and written English
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese would be an advantage
• Able to travel for oversea projects at short notice

Reporting to the Safety & Security Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that only associates on duty are allowed to enter the hotel premises.
• Ensuring that no hotel property is to be taken out without proper authorization from the relevant Head of Department.
• Conducting parcel search for associates on an alternate day basis.
• Acting as a witness for Finance Department conducting checks on cashier
• Assisting/witness Duty Managers in conducting DND room checks and unlocking of safes in unoccupied guest rooms.
• Ensuring all visitors (especially contractors and suppliers) wear proper shoes upon entering the hotel premises.
• Ensuring all suppliers and their workers are issued with ‘Vendor’ passes before they are allowed to enter the hotel premises.

• Preventing anybody loitering around the hotel area, ensuring no undesirable characters enter the hotel premises.
• Performing the duty of a prowler on the guest floors.
• Stopping unauthorized person(s) from entering guest rooms or loiter along the corridors of the guest floors. This includes hotel associates other than those authorized to be on the floor.
• Ensuring all guestroom doors are properly locked and secured.
• Ensuring all fire emergency doors and staircase are not obstructed.
• Preventing any form of soliciting by prostitutes or pimps.
• Ensuring vagabonds and all known undesirable characters are to leave the hotel premises.
• Restricting the movement of fast-food vendors/drivers/bodyguards who enter into the hotel lobby.
• Ensuring smooth traffic flow and no vehicle causing obstruction along the driveway
• Preventing any suspicious characters from loitering at the driveway.
• Recording the particulars of vehicles found parked at the driveway with noticeable damage marks such as broken head-lights, signal lights etc.
• Performing any other ad-hoc duties from time to time.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

• GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
• Possess a valid security license (PLRD)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Observant and eye for details
• Preferably prior relevant experience in hotel covering safety and security
• Willing to work shift, weekend and Public Holiday
