· To arrange ships' stores and spare parts supply for vessels under our management.

· To arrange necessary maintenance and repair for vessels under our management.

· To attend to our vessel for checking the ship's condition.

· To act as a ship's owner (Correspondence with the concerned authorities and other parties)

· Act as a crew manning agent (Crew change, etc.)

· To report the above-related matter to the HQ and our associated ship management company.

· Only the Japanese language is to be used when the above-stated reporting, etc.

Requirements:

· Academic history : Master’s degree or above ( Marine Science and Technology)

. Having experience as a ship's officer for at least 5 years.

· Having experience in ship management of ocean-going vessels.

· Having language skills of Japanese (N1 Level at JLPT) & English.

· Being well familiar with maritime technical terms in Japanese.

· Having good knowledge of ships' operation and management

· Having a positive attitude with a high level of integrity and initiative

· Willing to travel abroad when required (e.g. ships' malfunction)

· Having good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Job Description

• Inspects deliveries of food, beverage, general, engineering and operational supplies to ensure that they conform to quality specification and ensure that a purchase order exits for the supply.
• Ensure that the items have been received on the expected date of delivery.
• Check Unit prices with the Purchase order.
• Open Boxes for inspection.
• Weigh items received on weight.
• Stamp and sign invoices.
• Transfer all perishable items from the supplier containers to the hotel crates.
• Send all perishables to the washing and cleaning area.
• Send all store items to the respective stores and all direct purchases to the requesting departments.
• Obtain the Executive chefs opinion on all items received for kitchen.
• Posts all receipts into the system. Prepares receiving records for all items received and compile receiving report.
• Ensure that the weighing scale in the receiving area are properly maintained and periodically examined for accuracy.
• Ensure that a register is maintained for temperature measurement in the receiving area as required
• Ensure that the receiving area is kept clean.
• In case of direct purchase obtain the approval of the requesting department for the items received.
• Forward all the supplier invoices for Food & Beverage items to the cost control section.
• Forward all other supplier invoices to the accounts payable section.
• Report any deviations to the Cost controller
• Inform the purchasing department of all undelivered items and items returned due to not meeting required standards
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by senior from time to time.

· Research new wholesale food suppliers and negotiate prices

 Calculate future needs in kitchenware and equipment and place orders, as needed

 Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices

 Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff

 Prepare shift schedules

 Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed

 Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues

 Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms)

 Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

 Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus

Location: East

Job Responsibilities:

1. Packing daily orders for customers, including both B2B and B2C.

2. Managing the handling, checking, receiving, picking, packing, and storage of all incoming stock.

3. Inspecting goods received to ensure they meet the required quantity, type, and quality standards.

4. Preparing and labeling deliveries for the delivery team.

5. Signing off on received stock and replenishing inventory as needed.

6. Ensuring the accuracy of physical stock quantities.

7. Recording and updating daily stock movements.

8. Performing other related ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,300 - $2,800 per month depending on experience

Working hours: 5 days a week
