PURCHASING COORDINATOR

1. Responsible for processing purchase requisition & sourcing of goods in meeting the requirements of internal customers.
2. Evaluate and control the performance of machining sub-contractors/suppliers.
3. Regular monitoring and update to requestors and the arrival of goods.
4. Negotiate contracts, keeping within budgetary requirements.
5. Assists in planning and managing inventory levels as well as providing general administrative and quality management support.
6. To meet all order fulfillment for material planning
7. Work with Production and various engineering departments to ensure customer order is met.
8. Communicate with customers (sales) on order related issues.
9. Monitor, prepare and present On Time Delivery performance trend
10. Work with other departments on continual improvement of planning process
11. Conduct annual evaluation of major suppliers and subcon.
12. Ensure any errors in the ERP are corrected before every end of the month and or before generating the WIP report.
13. Updating the ERP system once PO is issued.
14. Maintain documentation system up to date as per ISO requirements
15. Any other task instructed by your superior.

Safety Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts or provides for employee safety training / briefing, including classroom lectures, demonstrations or hands-on instruction.
• Implement Permit to Work (PTW) system for all high-risk work activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and organize periodic audits.
• Participate and advise Risk Management (RM) team in preparation of activity based Risk assessment and safe work procedures.
• Conduct safety coordination meetings and committee meetings as per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and present monthly OSH / HSE and accident/ incident reports and findings.
• Reviews and tracking of accidents / incidents statistics and makes recommendation for preventive measures.
• Inspect the Company / site facilities observing operations and activities, investigating health and safety complaints and ensuring that the Company is in compliance with the legislative obligations and Statutory requirements compliance.
• Formulating and coordination of Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Observes work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn, and procedures are followed.
• Coordinates and consults with Project Managers, Project Engineer and WSH Officer and Supervisors regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notifies them regarding violation of safety regulations.
• Ensures preparation of safety manuals, training outlines and employee instructions for work deemed to have recognized hazards.
• Execute HSE programs to improve the safety and health performance, update HSE forms / notice boards and conduct toolbox meeting and safety orientation for employee and contractors.
