Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Planning:

• Conduct site-specific safety assessments and develop safety plans for the project.
• Ensure all safety protocols are in line with local regulations and industry standards.

Site Inspections & Hazard Mitigation:

• Perform daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Monitor the use of proper PPE and other safety measures by all workers.

Safety Training & Communication:

• Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training for site personnel.
• Communicate and enforce safety guidelines to all employees and subcontractors.

Incident Reporting & Investigation:

• Report and investigate safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses, ensuring corrective measures are implemented.

Coordination & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with SCDF codes, OSHA regulations, and other safety standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., OSH, WSQ Safety Coordinator).
• Proven experience in safety coordination on construction sites, preferably within the fire protection or MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage site safety.

Requirements:

· Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator / Level B

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety of personnel through compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act and other legislations.

· Conduct daily toolbox meeting.

· Conduct routine systematic safety audit / inspections.

· Investigate into any accident/incident which took place within the site/factory and recommend corrective action needed to be taken to prevent recurrence.

· Generating weekly safety reports to management etc.

• Based on the master program, work out a schedule for shop drawing preparation/approval and material approval/procurement and monitor the status.
• Supervise BIM modelers to produce shop drawings.
• Liaise with the BIM team on drawings production to identify clashes with other trades.
• Review, coordinate, and liaise with Consultants and Subcontractors to define the Architectural construction details and interface to Structure and M&E services.
• Ensure compliance with construction drawings, project specifications, client's needs, and authorities' codes and standards.
• Verify site installation according to approved shop drawings and finalize as-built drawings.
• Review project specifications, technical clarification, and construction drawings, identify technical issues, and seek clarification.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or a Bachelor’s
• Degree in Building or Architectural from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building projects
• Knowledgeable in Singapore Building Codes and Regulations for Code on Accessibility in the Built Environment, Approveddocument/Acceptable solution and Green mark issued by BCA
• Familiar with local standard quality implementation, BCA CONQUAS, and other Quality Mark Assessments Familiar with Safety aspects in the Construction industry.
• Preferable experiences in Hospital/Medical facility in Singapore.
• Preferable knowledge of BIM software / Autodesk Revit.

Responsible:

• Supervise the progress of M&E works on site. Coordination of sub-contractor's M&E work and ensuring the work is on schedule.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings for Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Sanitary & Fire protection etc.
• Ensure contractor comply with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations.

Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Civil Engineering
• With 3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
