RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for coordinating health & safety systems in the organisation;
· Conduct periodic inspections to ensure that the implemented risk control measures are being observed and
practised;
· Investigate and report WSH incidents & coordinate implementation of emergency preparedness and response
plans;
· Required to work on-site in his course of work;
· WSH Coordinator is practical and meticulous, required to observe safety hazards and deal in a prompt and
decisive manner;
· Deploy workplace safety and health (WSH) programmes;
· Manage WSH performance;
· Manage business continuity;
· Develop workplace safety and health management systems
· Assist the management in environmental, health & safety promotion to promote awareness among workers;
· Under the WSH Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe:
* Cooperate with employers and follow safety and health procedure;
* Report unsafe acts and incidents;
* Do not tamper with safety devices or perform wilful or reckless acts; and
· Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your
superior/management deem fit.
REQUIREMENTS
· Possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
· Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in Construction field
· Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act
· Proficiency in Microsoft (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)
· Preferably with driving / motorbike riding licence and possess own vehicle
· Able to commit to rotating shift work
