The Role:

Reporting to General Manager, you will be supporting the sustainability certification related work for Headquarter in Singapore and our regional offices. This person is pivotal in promoting sustainability practices and ensuring compliance with relevant International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) standards.

This role is required to be based 4 days in our central office (9am to 6pm) and 1 day in Tuas (8am to 5pm).

What You’ll Do:

• Assist certification implementation of ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) in Headquarters and regional subsidiaries in APAC.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure the implementation of the certification and sustainability set-up system of ISCC and use a scorecard as a management tool to support the certification process, including regional business units.
• Prepare data and update potential production data of certified products to the Headquarter and any relevant subsidiaries in a timely manner as set out by management.
• Develop and manage sustainable certification reports, including database-related reports, certification schedules, downstream or trading requirements, and sustainability reports.
• Provide training and monitoring of the application and license of ISCC for waste-based feedstock sales.
• Provide recommendations of control and certified product certification system for the production, delivery, storage, and sale of certified products of ISCC and others.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as required by Reporting Manager(s).

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum a Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in sustainability certifications, environmental compliance.
• Familiarity with ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) standards and processes is highly preferred.
• Meticulous and possess strong planning and systematic coordination.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for training, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be willing to be based at Tuas for one day per week.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities:

• Assist the WSH Manager to identify and assess risks arising from the workplace.

• Conduct site safety inspection and enforce compliance on prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.

• Assist to conduct Safety Committee meetings, organize and promote safety events and campaign, etc.

• Conduct daily toolbox meetings to highlight safety issues.

• Supervise and attend to all issues related to workplace safety, health and environmental control.

• Ensure all documentation / permits / licenses related to work place safety, health and environmental control required by authorities and management are kept in order.

• Assist in conducting periodic WSH cross inspection for all sites to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.

• Assist in conducting safety training / briefing such as familiarization on Risk Management’s standardize procedures to the respective site team to ensure safety awareness that the operations are safe and in compliance with statutory regulations and international standards / practices.

• Identify unsafe acts or practice and promptly correct any unsafe condition or practice.

• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Advance certificate in Workplace Safety & Health/NITEC in Engineering (Environment, Health, Safety) or relevant field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

• Familiar with regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety

• Possess a high level of the initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
