• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering. Specialist Diploma in BIM is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D modeling with Autodesk Revit.
• At least 8 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction practices and building design drawings.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; additional experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 3ds Max, and other BIM software is a plus (BIM / Revit / Navisworks).
• Ability to independently produce CSD/CBW drawings and coordinate Room Book details with other trades.
• Experience with Singapore hospital/medical facility projects is an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Planning:

1. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for renovation projects.

2. Design and present design concepts, including layouts, color schemes, materials, and furniture.

3. Create detailed design plans, 3D models, and renderings as needed.

• Project Coordination:

1. Coordinate project timelines, budget estimates, and resource allocation, and communicate with internal teams and external vendors.

2. Schedule subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.

3. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth project progress.

• On-Site Management:

1. Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any on-site issues.

2. Ensure that all safety protocols and building codes are followed throughout the project.

3. Coordinate on-site activities, minimize disruptions, and ensure efficient workflow.

• Client Relations:

1. Act as the main point of contact for clients, answering questions and providing regular updates.

2. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring projects align with client visions and expectations.

3. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the renovation process.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in interior design or project coordination.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar 3D modeling tools).
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and building codes is a plus.
