Key Responsibilities:

8. Food Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP, by overseeing and validating sanitation and hygiene practices within the kitchen.

9. Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement and supplier teams to monitor the quality of incoming ingredients and packaging materials, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

10. Equipment Maintenance: Participate in the maintenance and calibration of quality control equipment and tools used in inspections and testing.

What You Will Do:

• Ensures the effective maintenance and repair of the buildings, material handling vehicles, office and warehouse equipment, furniture, fixtures and all ventilating/air-conditioning/fire protection/security alarm systems to provide maximum availability and utilization of these Company's assets.
• Maintenance cover the construction, installations, alterations and servicing of: major facility equipment including ventilating and air-conditioning equipment, fire preventive and safety devices, mobile vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Major maintenance involve overhauling vehicles, cranes. And replacing utilities system ducting or piping must be anticipated and planned to ensure minimum disruption to normal operations.
• Automotive repairs include preventive and emergency maintenance of vehicles consisting of lift trucks, order pickers, worksavers and other mobile equipment.
• Ensures an adequate working inventory of maintenance items by determining the need and initiating requisitions of tools, material and replacement parts required for efficient general and preventive maintenance operations.
• Ensures to effectively work and coordinate with the architects, consultants and contractors for the satisfactory completion of major repair works and capital projects.
• Emergency maintenance occurs mainly through phone calls from other operation areas.
• Preventive maintenance schedules work to be performed on all equipment on a continuous basis. This involves servicing, inspection and testing for conditions such as mechanical defects, wear & tear, unusual noises, cleanliness and general working conditions.
• Organise work assignments in accordance with work schedule, prioritise urgent job requests and perform follow-ups until job completion.
• Provides technical guidance and assistance in analysis and interpretation of work orders, layout and specifications.
• Inspects critical projects or repair jobs
• Evaluates potential cost of capital/projects
• Ensures adequate working inventory of maintenance items by determining the need and initiating requisitions for tools, material and replacement parts required for effective and general preventive maintenance operations.
• Maintains inventory of tools, materials and replacement parts, inventory recording of replacement parts at optimum level to satisfy maintenance needs.
• Liaises with suppliers, government officers, internal customers, architects, consultants and contractors to work and coordinate with them on capital projects and facility maintenance works.
• Supports and ensures all safety processes and initiatives are followed to maintain high standards of safety within the facility. Responsible for safety/environmental compliance.

What You Have:

• Relevant experience in warehouse facility maintenance
• Proven experience and technical knowledge in the maintenance of building, vehicles, equipment, furniture, fittings, ventilating & air-conditioning / fire protection and security alarm systems.

Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool

Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times

Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables

Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified

Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, coordinate and manage daily maintenance activities with in-house & external contractors and to execute maintenance timely and effectively.

2. Analyze and improve equipment reliability of utilities & facilities to prevent recurrence with production group and contractors, prepare RCA and fallow up actions with Sr Engineers.

3. Prepare/Review spare parts list and equipment data inventory control and ensure critical spare availability, optimize spare parts, and manage stock effectively by using CMMS.

4. Analyse and improve equipment reliability of plant to prevent recurrence with production

group and contractors.

5. Manage annual shutdown/Grade change maintenance (Work planning, Management of actual site work, Liaising with contractors and production group).

6. Good knowledge and hand-on experience with PLC system maintenance/inspection of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment (eg. TI, TT, PI, PT, CV, on/off valve, motor, Switchgear, MCC etc.)

7. Leading troubleshooting efforts when E&I problems occur, quickly diagnosing the cause, and ensuring that repairs are carried out effectively.

8. Support in implementation and participate in the continuous improvement effort in the areas of Safety, Quality, Environment and Health Management System (for example SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, IATF 16949).

9. To have a legal obligation to act in a responsible manner for the safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.

10. Assist the Management in ensuring that Major Accident Hazards are reduced to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and escalate when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Degree/Diploma in in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation engineering or the equivalent.

2. Min 5 years of experience as an E&I Supervisor in chemical plant.

3. Basic understanding of maintenance technology, equipment, instruments, electrical and manufacturing process.

4. Demonstrate ability to manage contractors/vendor independently and effectively.

THE ROLE

The incumbent manages a technical team with the objective of Building, facility and Utility machinery improvement, New Machine Installation, project works and contractor improvement schedule as well as company facility function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance to Regulatory, Safety and Standards (GMP, ISO)
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of building and facility equipment
• Ensure all facility equipment is in good working condition
• Lead, supervise and motivate the team of technicians
• Ensure expenses are within the budget
• Ensure proper project management
• Liaise with contractors and PE to ensure proper maintenance work is carried out
• Liaise with Pest Control and Grass Cutting Contractors timely
• Ensure the documents and reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner
• Develop training program to build up the team capability
• Ensure and comply to Safe work practice at all time
• Drive continuous improvement program
• Carry out any other work-related job as assigned by the Management

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably at least NITEC in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering/ Facility Management
• Minimum 1-3 years relevant working experience in building/ facilities servicing and maintenance
• Able to work shifts (rotate every 2 weeks)

The Opportunity:

Responsible for providing supervision of inspection process and staff. Ensure staffing levels and work assignments meet facility requirements. Assist in the administration of the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs and ensure compliance with the Quality Manual as well as all applicable regulations and standards for which Therapak/VWR is certified to. Perform acceptance activities as required to ensure Company objectives are met. May provide oversight to lower-level supervisor(s).

Supervision of QC Associates

• Directly supervises the quality control associates, monitor individual skills, technique and abilities for most efficient operation.
• To follow progress of work; anticipate or investigate delays or inadequate performance by taking corrective action within limits of established practice and aid other departments as needed.
• Provides on the floor and technical support to quality control associates with guidance and improve the quality system, regulatory policies and procedures.

Drive QC Operation and Laboratory Operational Excellence

• Support and enforce the quality management system related to QC, regulatory policies and work instructions.
• SAP account holder for method creation, support QC data input and release, inspection plans and reports creation to ensure the process flow is smooth.
• Oversee quality and quantity of all QC laboratory output and testing timelines by monitoring testing duration, arrange for equipment, materials and supplies to be available for QC testing
• Oversee that equipment is given proper care; troubleshoot faulty operations to determine cause and arrange for required repair and maintenance which could affect operational testing needs

Drive continuous QC training and development

• Provide or arranges for training and cross training to employees in the performance of duties by assisting and instruct personnel as necessary to insure proper flow of work through department.
• Provide guidance to all level Technicians including test methods, analytical technique, good laboratory practice, paperwork completion, equipment, schedule interpretation, and LIMS support.

Maintain QC Document Control and lead in investigation

• Review and approval of controlled Quality Control documents including but not limited to specifications, procedures, work instructions, validation protocols, equipment software audit trials, stability worksheets, data integrity logs and validation reports.
• Ensure department documents and procedures are up to date and reflect current practice; revising procedures & processes when needed.
• Performs investigations for laboratory out of specification (OOS), out of trend (OOT) questionable results, quality event, CAPA and complaint related to testing, safety related incidents and/or processes related to the QC laboratory.

Maintain Quality, Regulatory and Safety Compliance

• Understands regulatory requirements for 21 CFR 820, ISO 17025, EXCiPACT, GLP, GMP including USP/EP/BP/JP/ChP general practices and procedures.
• Proactively maintains current industry and regulatory knowledge for medical devices, ISO 17025, GMP principles and current analytical methodology.
• Enforce prescribed local safety rules and regulations related to QC laboratory; insure that work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly condition in the work environment; to perform safety and security procedures to open and close buildings and facilities.

Customer Centric

• Work with external customers, regulatory agents and vendors during audits and site visits.
• Work and collaborate with internal stakeholders to insure successful visits and audits

QC Decision Making for Operation

• Assist in determining priority of urgent items and appropriate action plan to effectuate priority.
• Drive all QC decision making in approve rejections and rework actions as recommended by Quality Control Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations to ensure smooth and timely execution of tasks

Lead a team of warehouse operators and supervise all movements of cargo in/out of the warehouse

Oversee all aspects of inventory control efforts including daily cycle count

Ensure export shipment and local orders, including documentation, are delivered accurately and timely

Liaise with customers for all documentation and other operational matters

Monitor warehouse productivity, identify areas of improvement and drive cost control initiatives

Position Overview

The Spa Reception Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all operating aspects of the spa reception including the arrival, departure, and reservations process of all guests. The individual leads the team of spa receptionists and therapists by example to deliver exceptional service.
