• Manage, train and provide feedback to service crew in consistently delivering best-in-class service that meets the company’s service standards; manage their morale, discipline & professionalism
• Submit accurate and timely reports on cashiering, inventory, etc.
• Monitor usage levels and procure consumables (e.g. cleaning, stationery) as required
• Supervise team at ad hoc off-site events (e.g. weddings, live-scoop events)
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as reasonably assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (excel, word) & Google Suites (google sheet, doc)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Department and make sure everything runs smoothly and on time.
• Handle mechanical repairs and updates for commercial ships.
• Ensure production meets customer standards and expectations.
• Assign projects to supervisors.
• Make sure mechanical jobs are finished on schedule.
• Review and evaluate staff performance.
• Check progress of work on board or in the workshop.
• Plan department staffing needs.
• Identify and arrange training for staff.
• Oversee staff training and skill improvement in ship repair.
• Improve work quality in the department.
• Monitor and review safety and hazard reports.
• Implement safety plans for the department.
• Conduct safety audits for departmental practices and staff.
• Keep track of subcontractor working hours.

Requirements

• The ideal candidates should possess strong knowledge and experience in areas such as propulsion, shaft alignment, thrusters, and CPP. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with 4 to 8 years of experience in the shipyard or marine industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Receiving Supervisor will oversee all aspects of receiving goods and controlling inventory levels within the Resort. The incumbent will be responsible for the receiving process, ensuring accuracy in our inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving all goods and supplies. In performing this role, the Supervisor will ensure the quality of the goods received and accuracy in the quality. The incumbent will oversee the unloading, checking, and storage of goods, ensuring that they are handled and stored properly to maintain quality.
• The Supervisor will inspect goods upon arrival to ensure they meet the desired quality requirements and handle any issues related to damaged or incorrect deliveries.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Cultivate a strong people culture by investing in the coaching and development of associates. The incumbent will take ownership of people-management matters for the department including recruiting, upskilling and mentoring associates.

Job Requirements

• Solid track record of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry. Pre-opening experience would be useful.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self-motivation to complete projects.
